This is super uncomfortable to do, but “desperate times cause for desperate measures” 😅😩 The storm set back anything I had saved up for It, I’m trying to make up for it and work as much as I can, but my body can only take so much. Even just taking the time to glance it over would mean so much to me. I appreciate you all so very much 🥰🐶
Three years ago, I started my own dog grooming business, which went through the normal growing period of a new business. Life can be hard sometimes and throw some unexpected curveballs that caused some financial hiccups. We decided to trade in my car for something with a much more affordable monthly payment. Things were finally settling down and we were able to start to catch back up.
Almost a month ago, my “new” car broke down; the oil was completely dry, despite a recent oil change. They were unable to find any proof of wrongdoing by who did the oil change, and they were unable to get insurance to cover anything. My car now needs the whole engine replaced and will cost me over $6,000 to get taken care of. It’s been at Hargis Auto Care in Pottsboro, and they’ve been so kind working with me on this.
I’ve been fortunate to be able to use my fiancé’s car for the time being, but it can difficult when she needs it and it’s not built for the wear and tear, or some of those back country roads I have to be going on. The tires are starting to go, and it’s just much higher in mileage. I don’t want to run her car into the ground and leave us without any vehicle. I hate asking for help, especially in financial ways. I’m trying to book up my days heavier to make up more money to put towards the repairs, but my physical limitations only allow me to push so much.
Things aren’t easy for a lot of people right now; I completely understand everyone has their own limitations. If you have any ability to help donating to getting my car back up and running, I would truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. In the meantime, we will continue to bust ass making up some extra cash to try to get closer to being able to pay for it. Even a simple share can go a long ways. Thank you for all the love and support!
