Pixie stopped by for her yearly vaccines, but let’s be honest—she was just here for the attention.
This quirky girl lives for a good back scratch. Her favorite hobby? Flopping onto the couch, wiggling around like she’s doing the backstroke, then barking at… herself. According to her family, it’s a one-dog comedy show!

Rusty showed up one Fourth of July and he's been snoozing in his parents bed ever since. Now he’s barking for joy after getting his second Lepto booster, knowing he’s protected from a potentially fatal disease.
Leptospirosis is a bacterial infection spread through the urine of wildlife, especially in standing water. It can affect both dogs and humans, but it's preventable with vaccination.

Milo’s got moves—he prefers walking on his hind legs like he is human.
He stopped by for his 3-year rabies vaccine and updated city tags, but we’re pretty sure he thought it was a red carpet event.

🚨 Parvo Warning for North Texas 🚨
It’s only June, and our clinic has already treated 22 cases of parvovirus in 2025.
Canine parvovirus (parvo) is a highly contagious and often deadly virus that spreads through infected f***s and contaminated environments. Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are most at risk. Once symptoms appear—bloody diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy—death can occur in as little as 48 to 72 hours if left untreated.
North Texas is especially vulnerable during warmer months when the virus thrives in the environment. The virus can live in soil for up to a year and is resistant to most household disinfectants.
Prevention is critical:
✔️ Vaccinate your puppies starting at 6 weeks old and complete the full series.
✔️ Avoid dog parks and pet-friendly stores until fully vaccinated.
✔️ Wash hands and shoes after contact with unknown dogs or outdoor areas.
Please help us protect our community's pets—share this post, spread the word, and make sure your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Brownie just tested negative for heartworms — and we are so proud of this sweet boy!
Brownie was diagnosed with heartworms. His family chose our affordable slow-kill treatment option, which uses monthly heartworm prevention combined with doxycycline over time. It's a longer process than the fast-kill method, but it's safe, effective, and much more budget-friendly for many families.
Thanks to consistent care and love, Brownie is now heartworm-free!
June is Heartworm Testing Special Month
All heartworm tests are half price, or FREE when you purchase a 12-month supply of prevention.
Let’s keep more dogs safe and heartworm-free — just like Brownie!

We're thrilled to announce our June special offer:
FREE Canine Heartworm Tests when you purchase a 12-month supply of preventative. But that's not all – for the entire month, we're also offering half-price testing with no purchase necessary! (Please note that four-way heartworm tests are excluded from this offer.) Appointments are filling up quickly but you can walk-in 8:45am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday!
Why is this offer so important? In Texas, heartworm disease poses a significant threat to our furry friends, with our state ranking among the highest in heartworm prevalence in the country.
Heartworm disease is FATAL and can be devastating to our furry companions. But the good news is that prevention is easy and affordable! By keeping your pet on heartworm prevention, you're not only safeguarding their health but also preventing other types of worms that can be transmitted to you and your family.
Booking your appointment is a breeze – simply visit https://petsclinic.org, call 940-723-7387, or drop us an email at [email protected]. Walk on in Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm, or join us on Saturday, June 15th, from 8 am to 12 pm for heartworm testing.
Thank you, Shandi, for being our June heartworm-testing Mascot!

Roo may not have fur, but she definitely has flair—and a weakness for raspberry kisses on her tummy. Her sister Penelope isn’t hairless, but she’s just as fabulous.
These two Chinese Cresteds strutted into the clinic for their yearly vaccines like the tiny divas they are. We love seeing these two girls every year!

Pet overpopulation kills millions of dogs and cats in America every year and thousands in our local area. The P.E.T.S. mission is to provide high-quality, low-cost spays and neuters, preventative services, and community-focused programs in a kind, nonjudgmental environment to ensure every pet has access to and can remain in a responsible, loving home.
P.E.T.S. is a 501(c)(3) formed in April 2007 to combat the overpopulation of unwanted pets in Wichita Falls, TX, and surrounding communities. From 10 surgeries on July 11th, 2007, we have grown to an average of 160+ surgeries and 320+ preventative service clients per week in Wichita Falls thanks to the support of corporate sponsors, clients, individual donors, and volunteers. We also have expanded with a satellite clinic in Graham, a second branch in Amarillo, with plans for an additional satellite clinic in Vernon and a third branch in Lubbock coming in 2020.
Low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and preventative care are offered at our clinic. Grants and private funding are also available at different times throughout the year to make spay/neuter surgeries available to anyone requesting the procedure.
Surgeries are scheduled ahead of time. To make a surgery appointment, please call 723-7387. If you need financial assistance, please ask!
All of our services are available to everyone. No residence restrictions, no income restrictions. Clients who use our services at full price are helping us provide access to care for the pet owners and pets who might not be able to afford preventative care and spay and neuter surgeries otherwise.
Walk-in vaccination clinics are held Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm and on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except December) from 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.
We encourage every pet owner to establish a positive relationship with a full-service veterinary clinic. We only provide surgeries and vaccinations and cannot help sick or injured pets.
