September 19 I traveled seven hours to pick up Judge’s mom. She wasn’t sure about life outside of “the dog room,” she got nervous and ran away…for 55 hours!

We spent countless hours searching, a small fortune on live traps, hot dogs and trail cams. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat, I was a crummy mom and ultimately miserable.

I called several rescue efforts searching for any advice I may not have come up with to bring her home safe. Beautiful Hearts picked up, I bawled and bawled telling Siggy’s runaway story. Alexia, from Beautiful Hearts, responded calm, level and firm “you will catch your dog,” and I clung so hard to those words. After several days, at 2:30am my husband brought her home safe and sound after being caught in a live trap (the pup loves her hot dogs and couldn’t resist!).

Siggy has been such a wonderful blessing to our family so this year we hope to bless Beautiful Hearts back. If you are able please bring an item off their wishlist to your December appointment. Heck, bring a few let’s see how many times we can fill this little tote up!💜
