Chia wants you all to know she's been with us for over 175 days. That means she came to us at the beginning of June. She is a sweet girl, and her personality is really blossoming (See attached video of Chia destroying a cardboard box)

Chia Pet just turned a year old on November 4. She's spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

KITTENS, KITTENS, KITTENS!!!

Are you looking to foster three of the cutest kittens ever? AWW has the PERFECT opportunity for you (and your family)!

Toyota, Suzuki and Honda are all looking for a foster or foster to adopt home. These three frisky kittens are needing more space to run and stretch their legs. They are also in need of some socialization skills.

Toyota is a 12-week-old male brown tabby.

Suzuki is a 12-week-old female dark brown tabby

Honda is a 12–week-old male black and white tuxedo.

Toyota, Suzuki and Honda have not been altered yet. They do have their 1st and 2nd set of distemper vaccinations.

These 3 kittens and their two siblings came into us in October, and they are just getting too big for their kennel. If you have the space, socialization time, and love to give to these 3, please call us!

Please contact us through texting or messenger regarding our foster procedures and policies. Thank You!

"If you're interested in Toyota, Suzuki or Honda, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at [email protected], messaging our page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is up and running NOW. Morty is wondering if there is anyone out there who loves pleasantly plump middle-aged cats? Morty has been with us since June, and he is getting antsy.

Morty weighed over 23 pounds when he arrived, and he is now down 7 pounds. He loves his hard kibble, but mostly only eats wet food. We will sprinkle his wet food with kibble at times.

Morty keeps to himself; he likes to find piles of blankets to lay on, even jumping up to the highest shelf. Morty can squeeze himself into the smallest pet taxi around. Morty doesn’t seem to mind the dogs, and he likes his space with the other cats. He is feeling a bit overwhelmed at the rescue, and is hoping to find his fur-ever home soon.

Morty has been with us for over 155 days. Can you have the ticket out of here for sweet Morty? He’s hoping to be in his purr-fect home before the holidays.

(Please see the flyer in the photos from Morty’s previous owners)

"If you're interested in Morty, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at [email protected], messaging our page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is up and running NOW. Facts about FIV Positive Felines

*With proper care, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives.

*The virus is transmitted through deep bite wounds

*The virus is NOT transmitted through casual contact, such as eating and drinking out of the same bowl, grooming, or nursing.

Milo and Coco are two Siamese siblings looking for a fresh start. These two siblings are bonded and must go together. Milo and Coco are both FIV positive. These two cuties have been with us for over 115 days. This is crazy to all of us, especially Milo and Coco.

Milo is a male, 5-year-old flamepoint Siamese. Milo has stunning light blue eyes and a medium-length coat. He has been neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Coco is a female, 5-year-old tortie point Siamese. Coco has beautiful blue eyes and a medium-length coat. She’s been spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

These two would love to find a new loving family and home. They are very sweet, and love attention. Milo is a little more outgoing than Coco, but Coco will warm up fast too. Can you be the right family for these two lovebugs?

"If you're interested in Milo and Coco, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at [email protected], messaging our page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is up and running NOW. Are you looking for the perfect inside/outside feline friend?

We have just the boy for you. Let us introduce you to OC3 (Orange Cat 3). I bet you can guess what color OC3 is, if you guessed orange you would be right.

OC3 came to us at no fault of his own. Since he was an outside cat, he so badly wants to go outside. OC3 is able to enjoy some outside time in the amazing catio we have at AWW.

Once this boy is outside, it’s hard to get him back in. OC3 doesn’t bother the other cats, he just wants to be left alone to bask in the sun. OC3 would love to go to a house where he is allowed outside but is free to come inside. This boy is extremely friendly and would be a great best friend.

OC3 is estimated to be around two years old, he’s neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

OC3 hopes that the right family is looking at this post! Can you give him a fur-ever home?

"If you're interested in OC3, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at [email protected], messaging our page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is up and running NOW. Joey asked us if we had listed him yet, I told him yes, just a few weeks ago. He wasn't happy with that answer, so I had to promise to list him again. This guy can bruise you with his powerful head bumps, but don't get me wrong, this senior boy has so much L❤️VE to give.

Oh JOEY!!!!!

Cauliflower ear: also know as aural hematoma, is a condition where the ear flap (pinna) becomes swollen and deformed, resembling a cauliflower. It is common in cats, particularly those with ear infections or trauma. Stray cats that spend time outdoors are more at risk for hematomas and cauliflower ear.

Joey is a ham! He loves attention and loves, loves to talk. If he thinks he is not getting enough attention, he will let you know how he feels. He is a special boy who deserves an amazing second half of his life. Joey’s former family had to move and couldn’t take him with, so he has been making himself at home at Animal Welfare Wisconsin. Joey gets to roam during the day; he loves hiding up high and looking down at all his peasants.

Joey is an 8-year-old short-haired tuxedo with bright gold eyes. He has a cauliflower right ear, but trust me, he has great hearing. Joey is a BIG TALKER! He loves to hear himself, and he will talk till you respond to him. Joey is also known for his aggressive headbutts. He doesn’t know his own strength. All the headbutts in the world, he does out of love!

Joey is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. Joey has been with us since the middle of July; it’s been over 99 days. He would be great in a house with other cats, or he could be fine alone. Joey was the only cat in his former house, but he does great with all the cats that roam with him.

Joey would make a great roommate; he loves everyone and loves having conversations! Are you looking for an active senior who loves attention and giving headbutts? Then you have found the perfect boy, Joey!

*See comments for videos of Peach being adorable!*

365 Days 😓 or ONE WHOLE YEAR 🥹, thats how long Peach has been with us. She has had her bags packed for along time, and she isn't unpacking.

It’s been 365 days since Peach came to us with her brother, Raccoon, who has found his fur-ever home. We are all confused as to why Peach is still here. Peach takes some time opening up and trusting new people. She may hide at first, but she just needs to learn to trust you. She is a complete doll and so very soft. She loves being called Peachy Sneachy and being told how beautiful she is.

Peach is a 1.5-year-old Torbie (tortoiseshell & tabby) with a short coat and puffy tail! She got her name because of the light peach fur she has scattered on her tabby coat. Little Peach can be found in an intense game of batting fake mice, batting springs, or fuzzy balls with the other cats and volunteers. She also loves taking long and relaxing naps.

Little Peach is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Peach would do best in a home with at least one other kitten or younger cat. She does well with all the other cats in the room she is in. Peach can go out on the catio and absolutely loves it. Can you give Peach a fur-ever home?

"If you're interested in Little Peach, please contact A.W.W. by calling or texting 715-501-3000, emailing at [email protected], messaging our page, or check our website www.animalwelfarewi.org to fill out an adoption application. *Our website is being created at this time, and may not be up and running yet.
