These precious 2-month-old babies have officially arrived at HBLBR and applications are NOW OPEN! 💙💗

While they are not quite ready to head home yet (they still need their neuter/spay completed), we are starting the search EARLY for the perfect forever families because puppies this adorable won’t stay available for long.

👀 We are also closely monitoring both puppies for some possible vision concerns. At this time, nothing has been diagnosed, but we have noticed a few things we’d like to continue observing as they grow. If needed, we will consult with a specialist to make sure they receive the best possible care.

Carly has been watching other dogs find their families while she’s still hoping someone sees her. ❤️

She’s the kind of dog that bonds deeply with her person — the kind that follows you from room to room just happy to be near you. While she loves to play and run, what Carly truly wants most is connection, love, and a place to belong.

Carly is:
🐶 Crate trained
🐶 Great with other dogs
🐶 Smart and eager to learn
🐶 Surprisingly quiet for a husky mix
🐶 Affectionate and routine-oriented

She’s still a puppy, so she’ll need exercise, guidance, and patience — but she gives that love right back tenfold. A fenced yard or active home would be amazing for her, and she’d thrive with someone willing to make her part of the family instead of just “a dog in the house.”

She’s curious about cats and would do best with a confident feline friend who can teach her boundaries. 🐱

Two little puppies (breed is unknown but we definitely think a shepherd of some kind) had their first vet visit today! They received their first shots, dewormer and a CLEAN bill of health! Neuters are scheduled. In the meantime, puppy playtime will commence!

💔 RESCUE INTAKE - Dumpster ➡️ Safety 💔

Meet Nile & Hudson 🐾

These two precious babies were found abandoned in a dumpster and brought to safety. They are estimated to be between 6–10 weeks old, and while we are unsure of their breed at this time, we do know they deserve so much better than the start they were given.

They will be seeing the vet very soon for full evaluations and to begin getting the care they need. Despite everything, both puppies are sweet, innocent, and already showing so much resilience.

Please keep Nile & Hudson in your thoughts as they begin their journey toward healing, safety, and eventually finding loving forever homes. ❤️
