This sweet little puppy is looking for a **Foster-to-Adopt** home where she can grow, play, and shower her new family with puppy kisses while she finishes growing big enough for her spay appointment.

🐾 We provide the veterinary care.
🩺 Millie will just need to visit the shelter every couple of weeks for her puppy boosters. Once she's old enough to be spayed, we'll make it official and she'll become your forever best friend!

REMINDER: Cleveland County Animal Services will host a Drive-Thru Rabies Clinic next Saturday, June 20th, 2026.

With 19 confirmed rabies cases in Cleveland County, vaccination is more important than ever. Vaccinating your pet helps protect your family and our broader community.

📅 Saturday, June 20th, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Rabies vaccinations are free for Cleveland County residents. Vaccination is required by NC state law for cats, dogs, and ferrets 4 months of age and older. Please keep dogs on a leash and cats secured in a carrier.

We encourage all pet owners to take advantage of this free service while protecting the health of our community.

Come enjoy a beautiful summer evening, cool off in the creek, and spend time with some wonderful adoptable puppies and dogs looking for their forever homes. ❤️

🍔 Two food trucks will be on site serving great food!
🍦 An ice cream truck will be there to help you beat the summer heat!
🐶 Meet adoptable puppies and dogs from Cleveland County Animal Services.

While you’re there, stop by our booth to learn more about the services Cleveland County Animal Services provides to our community and get information about our upcoming Rabies Vaccination Clinic at Burns High School.

You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with county staff and learn about the many services available to residents that help make Cleveland County a great place to live, work, and play.
