At our facility, we believe in putting the well-being and safety of every dog first. While dog daycare can be a fantastic outlet for social, playful pups, it’s not the best environment for every dog, and that’s okay.
Every dog has a unique temperament, play style, and threshold for stimulation. Some dogs thrive in the company of others, while others may find a group setting overwhelming or stressful. That’s why we assess each dog individually and offer trial days when we’re unsure. Our goal is to ensure your dog, and the dogs around them, are happy, healthy, and safe.
There are also certain behavioral traits, breed tendencies, or owner handling styles that give us insight into potential challenges down the line. This isn’t about discrimination, it’s about responsibility. Our team has experience recognizing early signs of discomfort, overexcitement, reactivity, or incompatibility, and we take those signs seriously.
We’re not just here to fill a room with dogs, we’re here to build a positive, well-managed play environment. That means being honest when daycare isn’t the right fit for a particular dog, and guiding owners toward alternatives that better suit their pet’s needs.
At the end of the day, our commitment is to each dog’s overall happiness and safety, and sometimes that means saying no to daycare, in the best interest of all involved.
