With broken hearts, we sadly must postpone our VHSA Associate Horse Show scheduled for next Saturday, April 18, as the Celebration of Life service for our beloved longtime Whippoorwill family member, Cindy Bohannon, will be on that day.

What. A. Day. WFHSA’s first show of this season was this past Saturday, March 28!
While the wind certainly provided some frustrating challenges, we are overjoyed by the attendance and camaraderie. Thanks to our spectacular judges Old-Powell and Allen; to the Whippoorwill staff and volunteers who gave their all to overcome every obstacle; to Lawson in the Snack Shack whose chili and corn chowder (not to mention the other delicious offerings) warmed bellies and hearts; and most of all to every exhibitor, trainer, parent, and helper, who went above and beyond to display exquisite sportsmanship and friendship. Although the well-earned year-end awards were certainly important, our WFHSA Awards Banquet was about more than ribbons and prizes. Thanks to all of you who bid on our wonderful Silent Auction items, we were able to raise $1400 for Middlesex Pet Friends for Life! They're a vital resource for our community, and we appreciate all they do for our canine friends!

Winter is slowly but surely losing its grip, and we’re counting the days til Whippoorwill Farm Horse Show Association’s first VHSA Associate show of the season!
Saturday, March 28 is the day: 8:00 A.M. is the start time. Judges are Jenny Old-Powell and Tara Allen.
Snack Shack concessions of course!

2025 WFHSA members, this past Friday night was YOUR night, and you all shone SO brightly! We're delighted that so many of you were able to join us at our Awards Banquet. The setting was lovely, the spirit was festive, great food and drink were in abundance, and ohhhh the ribbons and prizes! Jumbo Lump Daddy & the Backfin Boys had everyone up dancing and all smiles. Truly a night to remember.
So much hard work went into this celebration, and we thank all of you who helped, from the bottom of our hearts.
We're already working on making the 2026 Awards Banquet bigger and better!
