What a great way to start the day!

This morning, our team had the privilege of attending a communication workshop taught by Dr. Jo Smith and Dr. Cortney Curtis from the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine at Clemson University! We learned so much and left with valuable tools that will help us better communicate with our clients, care for our patients, and support one another as a team.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to learn from such knowledgeable professionals. Thank you, Drs. Smith and Curtis, for sharing your expertise and investing in our team! 🐾✨

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating THREE incredible team members as they prepare to begin their veterinary school journeys this summer! 🐾🎓

Words can’t fully express how proud we are of these young women and all they have accomplished. We have no doubt they will do amazing things, and we can’t wait to watch their dreams become reality over the next four years.

Please join us in congratulating Abby and Kate, who will be part of the inaugural class of Clemson University College of Veterinary Medicine, and Bella, who is headed to University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine!

GCVH family...We found three puppies abandoned on the side of our building this afternoon. They are safe for now, but this is not how any animal should start life. If anyone has information about where these puppies may have come from, please reach out to us directly.

While we always try to help when we can, we want to gently remind our community that Golden Corner Vet is not a shelter, and situations like this can be difficult for us to manage while continuing to care for our patients. We also want to encourage responsible pet ownership, breeding, and spaying and neutering your pets. If you are unable to keep or place animals, there are local rescues and shelters that are equipped to help.

These babies are being cared for now. Thank you for always supporting us and for helping us advocate for those who don’t have a voice. 🐾
