Clients, please be aware Upstate Vet is not able to see emergencies this weekend. If your pet experiences a veterinary emergency, please take them to Fetch Speciality and Emergency, VEG, Magnolia, or Oasis.

Attention Clients: Due to an unforeseen staffing issue, our Emergency Room will be closed this weekend, effective immediately. Our staff is still onsite caring for our hospitalized patients, but we will not have the capacity to receive new patients.

Beginning Monday, July 21 at 8:00AM we can receive direct ER transfers from other veterinary hospitals. Walk-in emergency services will resume on Monday, July 21 at 2:00PM.

Friends, one of the wonderful rescues we work with is in need of fosters!!

📣URGENT NEED FOR FOSTERS!📣

🐱We are in the thick of “kitten season” and we are searching for more foster homes! Fostering helps save lives by keeping kittens out of the shelter and safely indoors while they grow. Miss Dixie’s provides all supplies including food, litter, toys, and medical care. A safe space for some kittens to hang with lots of love is all we need from you!

🫶We have kittens 6 weeks and older who are eating on their own, adult kitties, and moms with babies. We will help match you with your ideal foster kittens.
