Busy week coming up at Paws and Taws!

Want to brush up on your Plus? We will be offering three Plus workshops in the coming weeks to provide extended floor time so that those who do not dance Plus regularly can become more confident on the floor. Joe Arnold will be instructing, let him know of any calls in particular you would like to work on. First is this Wednesday, June 26 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Senior Solutions. Free to members, $5 per person for non-members. Following sessions will be July 9 and 23. Going to the Tennessee Convention and would like to dance in the Plus Halls? This is your chance to get ready!

4th Friday dance on Friday, June 28 - Sunglasses Dance with Mike Cox calling. Early rounds with Tom Bunn at 7:00pm, Mainstream and announced Plus with rounds between tips 7:30 to 9:30pm.

Memorial Day Dance this Friday. Joe Arnold calling, no rounds. Mainstream workshop 7:00pm, Mainstream and announced plus 7:30 to 9:30pm.

Third Friday Pizza Day Dance with Richard Smith. Mainstream workshop 7:00pm, Mainstream dance 7:330-8:30pm, Plus dance 8:30-9:30pm, no rounds. Special bonus - calling debut for Jonah Prosser during the Plus hour.

May 9th is National Lost Socks Memorial Day, and Paws and Taws will be celebrating it! Early rounds with Tom Bunn at 7:00pm, Mainstream with announced Plus with newest SC Square and Round Dance Hall of Fame member Tony Simmons calling, and rounds and lines between tips with Tom and Cindy Bunn, 7:30 to 9:30pm. If there is interest, Tony will also do a Plus session at 9:30pm, who knows what he'll come up with for that?

To all my square dance friends. On Wednesday I lost the love of my life. We were married 63 years. A special thank you to the members that saved his life last July and gave me another 8 wonderful months with him. His obituary is on line at www.davenportfuneralhome.com. I love and miss you all.
