**Keowee Exotics** is looking for a **part-time team member (approximately 30 hours per week) Our store hours are 11:30-6 Tuesday thru Saturday to join our growing crew.**

**Requirements:**
• **Reptile experience is required.** You must be comfortable safely handling and caring for a variety of reptiles.

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work weekends.
• Willing to clean—animal care means cleaning enclosures, feeding, watering, and maintaining healthy habitats every day.

**Job Duties:**
• Daily animal care and feeding
• Cleaning and maintaining enclosures
• Assisting customers with animal care and product selection
• Stocking merchandise and keeping the store clean and organized
• Helping educate customers about responsible reptile ownership

This isn't just another retail job. You'll be working with hundreds of amazing animals and helping fellow reptile enthusiasts every day.

It’s officially Expo Eve! 🐍 Whether you’re hunting for a rare morph or just coming for the vibes, being prepared is the key to a successful show.

Here is your ultimate checklist for tomorrow at the Gas South Convention Center.

🎒 The "Must-Bring" Checklist

Cash is King: While most vendors take cards/apps, cash is faster, avoids credit card minimums, and sometimes helps you negotiate a better deal!

Insulated Transport: Bring a small cooler or an insulated bag. Even if it’s mild outside, this protects your new pet from car AC or sudden drafts.

Phone/Battery pack/Charger: You’ll be taking photos, following new breeders, and checking care sheets. Don’t let your battery die mid-show!

Comfy shoes & clothing: Keep those feet comfortable while you get your steps in. Wear shoes for lots of walking and standing while you explore the expo.

🤝 Expo Etiquette & Courtesy

Ask Before You Touch: Never reach into a container or pick up an animal without asking the vendor first.

Hand Sanitizer is Your Friend: Use it before and after touching any animal.

Mind the Crowd: If a booth is packed, try not to "camp out" in front of the displays once you’ve finished looking. Give others a chance to see!

The "No-Pet" Policy: Remember, your pets at home must stay at home. This is for their safety and the biosecurity of the show.

💡 Quick Tips for Success
Arrive Early: Rare animals often sell in the first 60 minutes! If you’re a serious buyer, be in line before doors open at 10AM Sat & Sun

Ask the Experts: Our vendors love to talk about their animals and want them to find homes that are the right fit. If you aren't sure about a care requirement, just ask—they want their animals to go to informed, happy homes. Make sure to save their information and follow them online, in case you have any follow-up questions later.
