Meet Boone – A Gentle Giant with a Heart Full of Love!

Boone is a handsome 3.5-year-old hound weighing 75 pounds, with soulful eyes, a sweet personality, and plenty of love to give! Rescued after being abandoned along a roadside, Boone has overcome a difficult beginning and is ready to find the loving forever family he deserves.

Boone is an incredibly friendly, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being petted! He enjoys attention, gentle affection, and simply spending time with his people. His expressive eyes and sweet disposition make him impossible not to love.

Boone would thrive in a calm, peaceful household where he can feel safe, relaxed, and cherished. He would especially love a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, explore, play, and enjoy the sunshine. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy sharing his home with a friendly canine companion.

Despite his difficult past, Boone has maintained his gentle, loving spirit. He doesn't ask for much—just a comfortable place to call home, a family who adores him, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy life.

Boone is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives.

He is currently being fostered in Seguin, Texas, and is available for adoption in Central Texas only.

🐾🎃 What a PAW-some time at Barktoberfest! 🎃🐾

Friends of Dogs Rescue had such a wonderful time at Barktoberfest in Seguin this past Saturday! 🐶❤️

We loved seeing so many adorable dogs, meeting fellow animal lovers, and spending the day surrounded by people who share our passion for our four-legged friends!

A HUGE thank you to Uptown Collar for organizing such a fun event and bringing our dog-loving community together! 🐕🐾

We had a blast, and we're already looking forward to next year!

🐾 Wyatt & Blake Need a Little Help! 🐾

These two handsome boys are Wyatt and Blake — brothers who have been together since they were puppies. Unfortunately, they’ve both had some unexpected veterinary expenses come up at the same time.

🦷 Blake needs to have a tooth pulled. His estimated cost for the extraction and related care is $254–$442.

🐕 Wyatt got a little too enthusiastic while roughhousing and injured his knee. He needed an exam, X-rays, sedation, and medication to help with the pain and inflammation. His veterinary bill came to $506.28.

Between the two brothers, we are looking at approximately $760–$950 in veterinary expenses.

We could really use some help covering their bills. Every donation—$5, $10, $20, or whatever you can spare—adds up and makes a difference. If you would like to help Wyatt and Blake, please donate and let us know that your donation is for their medical expenses.
