was established in 1993 and since its purchase in 1990 by Tom and Diana Wiens it has evolved into a true powerhouse of the Cutting Horse Industry. Nestled In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains this 2,000 acre establishment is located 15 miles southeast of Castle Rock, Colorado. From its beginning, a dedication and promise to produce premier and exceptional equine athletes has been withheld with

an impressive resume to prove it. The Wiens Ranch is responsible for skyrocketing “The Smart Look’ into her historic title of one of the top producing dams of all time. Additionally, The Wiens Ranch is proud to say that they are responsible for the 1999 NCHA Derby Champion “Smart Lookin Hi Brow” (LTE $216,394.50) The 2003 NCHA Open Futurity Champion “One Smart Lookin Cat” (LTE $266,310) and “WR This Cats Smart” (LTE $236,514) who is an outstanding stud with an impressive show record. These are simply the top examples of the inventive breeding that has made the Wiens Ranch emerge as a top breeder and producer of performance horses. Watching Gina Mavor and Dont Stop Jazzin has been one of those true privileges for us at Wiens Ranch. Gina is the real deal. She puts in the work, keeps showing up, and fights with the determination and focus that we all strive to have.

What inspires us most isn’t just the success this team has found; it’s the dedication. The willingness to work harder when things don’t go their way. The commitment to the process, and the pursuit of getting better. That kind of grit is what builds great teams.

And can we talk about this horse-and-rider combo for a second? Watching these two work together is something special. The level of progress that that this team has seen this year, it doesn’t happen by accident.

Also… fun fact for those who don’t know: Gina is a literal rocket scientist 🚀 Which honestly makes sense because whether it’s science or cutting horses, excellence seems to follow her around.
