We have a little bit different case than our normal ones for our Homeward Bound Program.. this here is Rye! She is a girl we know very well here at K9 1 as we’ve done a 3 week board & train w her & she’s come often for boarding. She is a surrender due to a conflict w another housemate. What we can tell you is Rye is an almost 3 y/o spayed catahoula.. an absolute doll that loves to love you, is dog selective but has always done great w dogs at our kennel here. She would do best in a household that does not have another female dog. Being we know her well, there is not anything to work on during her week w/ us & we are hoping to get her adopted into a new home w/o having to step foot into HALO! We are heartbroken over the sudden loss of our drool monster, Drogon. We are so fortunate to have just been able to have him here last week & will miss him terribly. A true sweet boy who was a joy to have, even if we needed an apron & a towel around. Please keep his owners in your prayers. 🌈🐾

We can’t thank A&E Exterior Cleaning LLC enough for the fantastic job, as usual, on making this place look brand new. As dog owners, we’re sure you all know how easy it is for dirty paws & Florida weather to make things messy. Our sidewalks, driveway, pool cage & kennel roof & gutters are looking fantastic!

As Thanksgiving is one of our busiest times of year, we will be closing daycare services the week of due to the high number of boarders. But dont worry, we will be sure to give our daycares their annual pumpkin pie to take home for Thanksgiving 🥧 We will resume daycare the following week!

On a very sad day as we pray for Jamaica, we find comfort in small rays of light…

Tonight, Sasha is on her way home from the Homeward Bound Program at K9 1 Training & Consulting, joining her perfect forever family.

From being discarded to discovering love again, her journey is a reminder that even in dark times, there’s always hope.

We couldn’t be happier to see this beautiful soul get her second chance and find her happily ever after. 💕
