Forgotten Dogs Rescue Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a foster based nonprofit rescuing homeless dogs in Washington State.

Forgotten Dogs is a foster home based rescue organization located in the Tri-Cities and Seattle areas of Washington State. While Forgotten Dogs will take in any breed, we primarily rescue Pit Bull type dogs and mixes and other bully breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs from shelters, especially in Eastern Washington. ​

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the d

ogs who have lost all hope—the forgotten dogs. Our Commitment
Once a dog enters the Forgotten Dogs Rescue program, we are committed to it for life. Our dogs live in private foster homes where they receive love, training, and learn to be members of the family. They receive all necessary medical care, and if they come to us with behavioral issues, we invest in training. We are committed to do whatever is necessary to help them become adoptable and find them amazing forever homes. And if at any point an adoption doesn’t work out, we will always welcome the dog back into our program. We make a promise to all of our dogs that they will never again be forgotten.

We're starting to think Tobie is actually a retired grandpa. 👴

Sure, he's young. Sure, he loves hikes, adventures, and playing with his dog friends.

But when it's time to relax...

He plops himself down, leans back in his "recliner," and is out cold, snoring away, in about 30 seconds. 😴💤

Honestly, all he's missing is the TV remote, a bowl of pretzels, and we swear we can almost hear him grumble, "Can someone turn the thermostat up a couple degrees?"

We lovingly describe Alexis as our little Sour Patch Kid- Sour, sweet, gone. This girl is a pro at giving us whiplash, going from cuddly to silly in .2 seconds. Here's her signature routine:

Sour: 🐷 If you’re not giving her the attention she ordered, she’ll snort at you like a disgruntled piglet. It’s her way of filing a complaint
Sweet: 😘 Immediately after, she decides that tactic was too harsh and climbs directly onto you or her nearest dog friend. She says cuddling is mandatory and non‑negotiable.
Gone: 🐦 Just when you think she’s settled in, she remembers she has important bird‑watching duties

Alexis is a young, sensitive sweetheart who’s ready for a home with a confident doggie companion and a family who understands her Sour Patch rhythm and is always down for a good time. She’s silly, snuggly, expressive, and so ready to be someone's favorite treat.

Billy Bob has been waiting far too long for his family to find him and we think it might be because he's just so handsome. BB loves his people and dog friends once he settles in and makes sure everyone else loves him back!

Life is gooooood!!!!! 😍

Baguette is living her best life and she has decided ferry rides are 10/10 and she highly recommends them.

Not long ago, this little loaf was 15 pounds of crusty perfection, uncomfortable in her own skin and wondering what came next.

Today? She's out making new friends, enjoying new adventures, and living her very best life.

She doesn't know she's a medical dog.
She doesn't know she's a little wobbly.
She doesn't know how many people came together to change her life.

She just knows the breeze feels nice... and someone else paid for the ferry ticket.

Honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way. ❤️🥖

If you followed Hudson's story... just wait until you see him now. 🥹❤️

It's hard to believe this is the same boy who underwent major spinal surgery after suffering a severe spinal fracture.

Today, he's standing, walking, exploring, soaking up the sunshine, and reminding us every single day just how resilient dogs can be.

Watching Hudson heal has been one of the greatest joys we've experienced, and it's all because so many people came together to give him a second chance.

To everyone who donated, shared his story, sent encouraging messages, or simply rooted for him, thank you. Every happy step Hudson takes is a reminder of what your kindness made possible.

We have a feeling Hudson is just getting started. ❤️🐾

We have a soft spot for sweeties like Rufio, but lately... this guy has been serving some premium RBF (Resting Bark Face) and we knew you'd all enjoy a little 'tude served with this cutie. So what's he even throwing side eyes at?

1. Too much exercise.🏋 Can you blame him? Rufio loves a rest day and a fun, present walk around the neighborhood
2. Whenever the phone rings, it interrupts his glorious singing. 🎤 His fosters call it a howl, but what do they know?
3. String cheese being in the fridge. 🧀Why is it not in his mouth?
