Forgotten Dogs Rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a foster based nonprofit rescuing homeless dogs in Washington State.

Forgotten Dogs is a foster home based rescue organization located in the Tri-Cities and Seattle areas of Washington State. While Forgotten Dogs will take in any breed, we primarily rescue Pit Bull type dogs and mixes and other bully breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs from shelters, especially in Eastern Washington.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the d

ogs who have lost all hope—the forgotten dogs. Our Commitment
Once a dog enters the Forgotten Dogs Rescue program, we are committed to it for life. Our dogs live in private foster homes where they receive love, training, and learn to be members of the family. They receive all necessary medical care, and if they come to us with behavioral issues, we invest in training. We are committed to do whatever is necessary to help them become adoptable and find them amazing forever homes. And if at any point an adoption doesn’t work out, we will always welcome the dog back into our program. We make a promise to all of our dogs that they will never again be forgotten.

⚠️FOSTERS NEEDED!⚠️

Duke, Rocky, Lou, and Tatie Tot are all looking for loving foster homes to land in while they await their forever homes. Here's a little bit about each of these cuties and what they're looking for:

❤Duke: A 1.5-year-old shepherd mix who is playful, goofy, good with dogs and older kids, has moderate-to-high energy, and would thrive with an active family and a yard to run in.

❤Lou: An almost-2-year-old pitbull/herding mix who loves other dogs, is routine-driven, enjoys playtime followed by naps, needs a yard and a dog companion, and is still gaining confidence on neighborhood walks.

❤Rocky: An adult shepherd mix with partial vision impairment who gets around well, can be nervous in busy environments, does great with other dogs, and would do best in a quiet home rather than a busy apartment or condo.

❤Tatie Tot: A 2-year-old, 40-lb pit mix who is an affectionate, quiet, ball-obsessed professional snuggler with moderate-low energy, best in a calm, no-dog home with no cats or kids under 10 and in need of a foster ASAP.

If you're interested in fostering any of these four sweethearts, or want to be considered for other fostering opportunities in the future, email [email protected] or apply through the link below.

More fosters = more lives saved. Thank you for your help!

Cozy… but also on Snack Patrol. Rosemary has mastered the art of being deeply comfy while still keeping one eye open for important developments… like snacks.

Tucked into the couch, ears on full alert, she’s relaxing and monitoring the room just in case something tasty appears. A girl has to stay informed, after all.

She’s still building her confidence, but safe, cozy moments like this are helping her learn that the world (and the couch) is a pretty good place to be. 💛🐾

Ferdinand would like the record to show that he is NOT a weather baby.
Rain? Fine.
Standing in the rain doing absolutely nothing? Also fine.
Ball-obsessed to the point of ignoring basic comfort? 100%.

For anyone concerned he might melt: fear not. A rain jacket is on the way.

Humans: “Ferdi, come inside.”
Ferdinand: I cannot. The ball has not been thrown.

Not a weather baby. Just a certified goof.

Looking for a loyal sidekick with elite cuddling skills and A+ listening ears? Meet Rex 🐾

This 65-lb pit bull mix is all about the cozy life—think blanket nests, sunny grass naps, fireplace lounging, and the occasional dramatic back roll to find the perfect sun spot ☀️ When he’s not perfecting comfort, Rex keeps busy with his favorite toys (balls + Kongs = true love), exploring the yard, showing off his solid manners, and yes… even enjoying warm showers 🚿

Rex is treat-motivated, eager to learn, and already knows sit, place, wait, and come. He’s happiest as the one and only—no kids, cats, or dogs—so he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves 💙

Born March 2022 and ready for his forever couch. Think Rex might be your perfect match? Check out his full profile and apply to adopt at the link below!

Hello, Leroy Brown here, your Uber driver. 🚗. Yes, I have five stars. All deserved.

Fair warning, I don’t follow GPS. I follow my heart. And occasionally squirrels.

Tips are encouraged and can be paid in treats, belly rubs, or telling me what a good boy I am. Excessive petting may result in happy snorts.

Now buckle up. We’re going absolutely nowhere, but we’re getting there in style.

Just look at Biscuit now. 🥰

When Biscuit first came to us, she was so sick and scraggly and clearly hadn’t had an easy time. With good care, lots of love, and a couple of much-needed grooming session, she’s looking like a whole new dog. Happy, comfy, and absolutely adorable.

We were told Biscuit is a Yorkie… but we’re curious what you think. Yorkie? Yorkie mix? Poodle? Something else entirely?

Drop your best guesses in the comments and help us solve the mystery. One thing’s for sure. No matter what she is, she’s 100 percent perfect. 💛
