I had an absolute blast printing stuff for this pegboard!! There are so many fun items in thingaverse designed specifically for the skadis pegboard. I can’t wait to get the other two boards setup, one will have cutting essentials and the other will have shipping stuff.

I think it’s pretty clear that over here we prefer a bib style bandana but you get to do you! That’s the joy of freedom. And in all honesty any bandana is gonna roam around the neck as it’s worn. Which do you like best?

Next steps for the room are to get containers to organize all the stuff on the shelves. Daiso doesn’t seem to have any more of the mint containers so I’ll likely get them in white. What’s next after that? I’ll probably shove everything else into the doom closet as I have an event on the 2nd to prepare for! I will also need to pickup some plywood for my ironing tabletop and move the ikea table top into place. It’s coming along nicely. I love how easy it is to get to many of the tools and supplies. Oh, my partner also showed me how to use the 3d printer and I’ve been going off printing accessories for my ikea pegboard. Workshop progress!! It’s been awhile! Spent last week prepping for Valentine’s Day (I make a vegan box of chocolates for my Beau) so the workshop was on hiatus. But! I finally figured out what to do in the closet corner!!! This corner will get a short shelving situation and have a pegboard in the center. It will be a shipping station which will be needed with our getting onto Faire recently. Eventually there will be a label printer setup on the shelf and all the packing supplies. The pegboard will hold tissue paper, stickers, pens, and thank you cards. Maybe I’ll have to make a cute new topper for the ironing board since this one is VERY TIRED and it would be fun to have something with my brand colors. Maybe I’ll print some logo fabric for the background of packing videos? I’ll also need to get some sort of under shelf lighting here as my body will be between the light source and the filming station. Taylor and Juniper get along relatively nicely, but Juniper always acts like she’s telepathically saying “that’s a nice tan puppy shaped ball you have there, throw him for me please!” Whenever we pick Taylor up. They are also both VERY into fetch but can’t share so they each have a ball to catch.

The bookcases are built! My partner is about to be too busy to help me with much moving or lifting so we did a big push to get some of the big things moved around! I then spent over an hour rainbow organizing my snaps 🤣 I will have to get a couple more items from ikea this week to finish off this piece but I’m thrilled with how it’s looking. Might even be able to fit in a third Bookcase!! But I don’t want to push my luck as our building is old and no wall seems to be square. It’s me, i’m the problem 😂 Taylor is never super into photo time when I’m taking photos so I just have to give in that it can’t be one of my jobs. 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well, I wear enough hats in this business anyway. I’m thinking about making the second photo into a standee for markets and stuff. He’s just so dang cute!!!

We had some impromptu training this week. Taylor is very noise reactive and strangers in our house reactive. He was a champ! As you can see he did get lots of treats, but he has NEVER taken a nap next to anything loud, this was a sawzall!! Our plumbing on the other hand…… did not fair well 🤣 but Taylor will likely sit out the next round of chaos as it will be too loud.

More Taylor treat pouch shenanigans 🤦🏻‍♀️ remember how I posted that he’s indifferent to treats unless we were working on something? Today he WAS NOT. This pup is a silly little thing that has suddenly become fascinated by food and all things related. He’s 7. In our four years together he has been the pickiest eater ever. Since his surgery he has been so happy to eat food every morning and doesn’t need to be hand fed anymore. I don’t know, I’m not holding my breath because he tends to have month long eating rituals that abruptly change (had feed me, sit near me, don’t be near me, only will eat with toppers, not eating that food this month, not eating until 5pm, and more). We shall see what direction this goes Do you have a picky eater? No food suggestions please, Taylor has food allergies and has a limited diet. #sillypup #dogtreats #treatpouch #dogchaos

Mood: Chihuahua, Poodle, Pomeranian Anyone with a picky eater relate? Some days he finishes before I finish making my own breakfast. Other days he isn’t into it unless we feed him by hand. Still other days we have to feed him while hopping on one leg and singing (not really, but that’s what it feels like) Taylor’s current mood is: will only eat food off of the food blanket and not out of his food bowl. I’m just glad he isn’t wanting supervision anymore. Oh the things we do for our pets. All dogs are good dogs, but some need a little help. Our leash wraps along with training can provide a works of difference in your walk. Taylor is leash reactive (fear based) and doesn’t like being touched by people. He also has an issue with mobility aids that we are working on. Taylor has worn his do not pet leash wrap for two years and is finally to the point that we have to actually train him to stop approaching people since they are less likely to pet him which has increased his curiosity and interest in people. Reposting this because I might be making a stand in gift today 😬 When that dreaded delivery update says “Delayed, expected delivery Dec 28th” and you don’t know what to do? Make a stand in gift. Everyone wins when a stand in gift is used, simply make or purchase a similar type of item, make a card and insert the delivery date and a photo, and give it to the recipient! This is a common occurrence in our family, usually due to delayed purchasing 🥲, so we are well versed. My partner made me a pair of stand in sunglasses and I wore them around taking silly photos all day. This is a great opportunity to be creative! Another way is to write a note from the gift and talk about the adventure it’s going on, or maybe that it took a wrong turn and is making its way over.
