Our sweet, sensitive, loyal Milo.
You were never dealt the best cards.
Milo came to us as a puppy on death’s door—brought in with parvo and just minutes away from euthanasia. We stepped in, treated him, and gave him the second chance he deserved.
Sadly, that wasn’t the end of his struggles. Milo was later adopted into the wrong hands, where he spent 8 long years living in a cage, skin and bones, with severe allergies left untreated. When we learned of his condition, we took him back in April 2025… and he’s still here, waiting.
We know Milo has his quirks—but who doesn’t?
We know he’s a large, black pittie mix that people often walk right past without a second glance. While others keep looking, we see him.
Milo is looking for a quiet, patient home to live out his golden years. He needs time to feel safe and build trust—but once he does, he becomes your best friend, your couch buddy, and your constant shadow. Despite everything he’s been through, he is truly an easy, gentle dog, and it’s hard to put into words just how special he is.
Right now, Milo spends 18 hours a day alone in a shelter. We’ve done everything we can for him—

✔️ Ongoing allergy medication
✔️ Temporary housing
Now all he needs… is a home.
