🌶️ We need 3 more chili cooks for our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off! 🌶️
Every year we bring out the crockpots, argue about beans (yes or no?), and eat way too much cornbread. Every year we also stop to remember why we do it.
This cook-off is held in loving memory of Margaret and Katie Segersten, the sisters and cousins of two of our board members. They loved dogs / a good party / a big pot of something spicy, and this day is our way of keeping that love going, one bowl and one rescue pup at a time. 🐾💛
Here’s where you come in:
🥄 COOKS: We have 3 spots left! Bring your best chili, whether it’s an old family recipe, a five-alarm one, or a “trust me, there’s cinnamon in it” one. Bragging rights are on the line.
🥣 TASTERS: Come hungry, try them all, and vote for your favorite. Your ticket helps rescue dogs find homes.
