Medal Reveal!!! 🏅🐾
The Renegade office pups and 5-year-old unpaid model, Sprinkler, got a sneak peak at the Wag-O-Ween fun run medal, designed to match this year’s event shirt.

Now the only questions left are… are you running or walking? Are you bringing your dog or a Renegade foster? Also have you signed up yet??

Run with your dog or sign up to run with a foster dog!
If you would like to “borrow” a shelter dog to run or walk with, select the Shelter Dog add-on after selecting your ticket and Renegade elves will work behind the scenes to match you with a paw-tner. (Subject to availability, by first request)

Registration includes bib (race is not timed), photos, and race medal. Pups run for free. Stick around for the after paw-ty, free and open to all!
*Wag-O-Ween sponsors at WareWoof level or higher are invited to join as vendors at the after paw-ty.

Don’t want to run or walk? Volunteer instead! We’ll need volunteers beginning at 6:30am to check in participants, hand out water, play with puppies and more. Visit the volunteer tab on wagoween.org to sign up!

This event is hosted by Howe2Run, Renegade Paws Rescue and Case Veterinary Hospital. All proceeds benefit community rescue efforts as part of the Wag-O-Ween mission! Partial proceeds from Howe2Run on run day will also be donated to the cause!

Last year 12 attending rescues and shelters were supported by the event, as well as helping their pets find fosters and homes!

Vendor spaces are available at one of downtown Savannah’s busiest weekends! Be part of the magic of Wag-O-Ween Oct 24 & 25 with a BOOth Sponsorship!

Sell goods, promote your business, meet the community, and hand out treats of course! As our event takes place in public, your booth space in one of 5 of downtown Savannah squares is visited not just by attendees, but locals and visitors alike.

PLUS - did we mention WoW is the largest pet event of the year? Over 2,000 pets with 3,000 human chaperones, it’s a great opportunity for any business. And, we may be biased, but it’s also the absolute cutest fundraiser, turning heads all across Savannah’s downtown and Starland districts.

EVERY dog is a Wiener at Wag-O-Ween!
Grab your costumes and your waddles and join us Oct 24-25th in Pulaski Square.

This wiener race ‘fun run’ event is open to ALL dogs. We split races into 2 categories: Wiener dogs/almost wieners and then Wieners at Heart (aka everybody else!)

Races take place in Pulaski Square during both days of Wag-O-Ween with finals and ribbon winners each day! This years’ cutest races on four (or sometimes three!) legs is sponsored by Darden & Musson Law! Skye Musson has been a yearly sponsor of WoW and we are excited to have her back as a sponsor of one of Pulaski’s funnest corners!

Details:
$5 donation entry (in person registration only). But you can grab your Wag-O-Ween registration online now to skip those lines!
Races begin at 12pm and 6 dogs will run at a time. Wieners will run at the top of every hour followed by Wieners at Heart.
Top dogs at each heat will be invited back to the 4pm finals!

Thank you to Savannah Kennel Club and Fins Animal Training for keeping this event running smooth every year.
All funds raised in sponsorships and tickets directly support local animal rescues and community efforts (the Sara Portman Community Fund).

Some Basic Rules:
-Have FUN! This is a fun run race and not an official race event.
-Please bring an extra leash.
-You may coax your dog with their favorite toy or treat, but no whistles, laser pointers, or running alongside your dog.
-All owners will be required to sign a waiver before participating.

We can’t wait to see you - and yes, racing in costumes is encouraged! This even is just one fun part of Wag-O-Ween, Savannah’s trick or treat event for dogs!

One of unique parts of our event is the special relationship it has to so many of Savannah’s small businesses - as treat stops, sponsors, raffle donors and more.
A few years ago when we expanded the historically downtown event to the quieter and quirkier Starland area, we were welcomed with open arms. Over the years this area of trick-or-treating has offered extra fun stops, a slower-paced walk for dogs (and humans), and new favorite places to discover.
And yes, they’ve let us be our true selves too with our content shenanigans (➡️ to end)!

As many, we have been hurt seeing the hit to some of our favorite businesses after the string of break-ins.

Today, until 6pm, head to Starland Yard for a community event supporting these awesome places!
And maybe grab a ice cream or bubble tea when you head home 🧡

The crystal gazing pups see treats in their future- and a one-of-a-kind shirt in yours!

The 21st annual shirt will once again come from the amazing *human-powered* artistry of Low Tide Thread Co.
While they work all year with large names from the music and television industries, this creative crew has returned yet again to make something truly unique for Wag-O-Ween!
