Save the date -even better, register early - for the 20th Annual Wag-O-Ween, October 25 & 26! Registration is open and sponsorship and vendor opportunities are available on wagoween.org!

Savannah’s annual trick-or-treat event for dogs is celebrating 20 YEARS of raising money for animal rescue in the cutest way imaginable. Dress up with your pet and turn heads from Starland to River St!

Besides being the best Savannah takeover, what makes this event so special? Wag-O-Ween supports ALL participating local animal rescues and shelters from the surrounding counties. Funds raised also support the Sara Portman Community Fund, which focuses on community spay and neuter efforts, education, and keeping loved pets with their families.

Becoming a sponsor of Wag-O-Ween supports this community wide cause! Opportunities are available at multiple levels for all business sizes, including vendor spaces!

Wag-O-Ween is organized by the nonprofit rescue, Renegade Paws Rescue, and local woman-owned business, Locally Made Savannah.

We’re celebrating National Rescue Dog Day and getting ready for October! A dozen area rescues and shelter participate each year, meaning when you sponsor or support Wag-O-Ween, you are helping a whole community of rescue efforts.

There’s not much that brings us more joy than seeing rescued dogs collecting treats like the spoiled pups they are, and we also love seeing adoptable dogs enjoying the day with their foster families too! When you register for Wag-O-Ween you can add a donated bag to sponsor a foster dog’s trick or treating!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Tacos - and really food themes in general - are always a hit group costume at Wag-O-Ween.

Join us this year for the 20th anniversary of Savannah’s favorite trick or treat event! Costume or not, dog or not, joining as a trick or treater, watching the parade of pets go by from your favorite bar, everyone is welcome!

Wag-O-Ween is Oct 25 & 26 in downtown and Starland Savannah - yes it’s a take over! This is the biggest fundraiser and awareness event for area animal rescue efforts. This event is organized by local rescue and local business .

One of our favorite parts of Wag-O-Ween is the involvement and participation of area rescues and shelters. Last year, a dozen organizations attended Wag-O-Ween and brought adoptable pets, volunteer information, and had fundraising opportunities!

Raising money for animal rescue in the cutest way imaginable - Dress up with your favorite 4-legged friends and humans and trick-or-treat at Savannah businesses from the Riverfront to the Starland District!

Registration is now OPEN! Bundles are back and we are accepting pre-orders for the 20th anniversary shirt designed by Low Tide Thread Co.

This sponsor will have exclusive branding on the back of the thousands of save the date fliers that are handed out each year, and will be included on 2026 save the dates given out to each attendee. This sponsor will also be included on all social media countdown posts.

Last week we learned of a significant loss to our Savannah community. Scot Ritchie, owner of , was a friend, father, and community supporter as well as a local business man. He treated his team like family and he became friends where he was a client himself.

As well as being a supporter of a variety of causes, Scot was a dog dad and animal lover, supporting local rescue efforts and including being an annual sponsor of Wag-O-Ween. Savannah Toyota had actually already committed to sponsoring WoW for our 20th anniversary this year, a gift we are grateful for and one we will honor by continuing every day to support community rescue efforts.

Our Mayor of WoW and Am-basset-dors were out spreading good luck this St. Patrick’s Day!

Dice, and his partner in crime Lizzie, walked the parade with and received many kisses from his adoring fans!

Renegade alum Oliver and his sister Charlotte visited Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center last week to spread love to the residents there.

Now our eyes turn to October and the 20th anniversary of our favorite holiday, Wag-O-Ween! If it’s one of yours too, tonight is the LAST night to vote in ’s Best Of poll!
