Some of y'all have already seen this girl on the TikTok and asked.

Since she's been here for nearly a week, I suppose it's time to introduce our newest band member.

Meet "Shiloh."

She's a yearling filly. Lots of chrome, lots of unique dark spots, and going to have lots of personality once she settles in more.

We're doing all the normal intake care we have done with the others. This girl got a bath sooner than I wanted while we treated some lice she had. Handled it so well.

She's taking everything in stride including staying by herself yesterday when we took Ellie Mae to get baby checked. Excited to watch Shiloh really blossom and fill out over the rest of summer.

This filly was one of those things that just sorta fell in my lap. I thank God for the people I have in my corner and their continued support during this big life shift time we're going through. Without their support a lot of these blessings would not have happened.

We’ve still got a few more rides here… but the countdown’s started.

This arena has seen a lot—sweaty rides, hard days, and little victories. It’s where muscle memory was built and lessons were learned the dusty way.

The new place doesn’t have an arena yet—and that’s a little daunting. But it’s also kind of exciting.

Because what we’re headed toward isn’t just a new address—it’s a fresh start. A chance to shape something from the ground up, on our own terms.

We’re not losing ground. We’re gaining new space to grow.

Hey moms, it’s Motivation Monday!

Between school runs, horse chores, and jackpot weekends, you’re basically a superhero in boots. But even superheroes need a recharge.

So here’s your Monday reminder: progress isn’t about being perfect—it’s about showing up, one step (or one lunge) at a time.

If your workout looks like you're dancing the funky chicken between laundry and feeding horses, that counts. If your ‘me time’ is a 5-minute stretch while the kids finish breakfast, that counts too.

Because strong moms make strong riders. And strong riders? Well, they tend to win a few barrel races here and there.

So grab your water bottle, take a deep breath, and let’s make this week about moving forward—no matter how busy life gets.

You’ve got this… and your horse is already proud.

I decided to do a thing last night 😏 First runs I've made in about 6 or 7 months.

So thankful for the people in my life right now.

One of my friends was gracious enough to let me jump ride two of her horses.

Gracie(bay) and Tiara(roan) are still learning the ropes but we made it through with clean runs on both!

I had a blast seeing everyone and getting to do what I love. I feel nothing but blessed.

Plus! I'm not even sore this morning! The program is paying off. 😉

Let's talk aftercare. Or, as some call it, "spoiling" our horses. 😅😏

Riding your horse for all its worth(working them hard), that's ok! Buuut.......

You need to care for them that hard, too!

I think we forget that we're asking these horses to be athletes. I'm not sure about you but even 15 mins with a weighted backpack on would leave me sore, beat up, and begging for a icepack or massage. 😖

Ole girl Princess was less than thrilled about our little ride yesterday, and she was sorta pissy. But, I still hosed her down and put ice boots on her. And even let her nibble on some good clover patches before I put her up.

These horses are a blessing in my life and I'm going to treat them as such.

Recharge time.

I won't be posting much on here this winter.

With Ellie Mae being out my focus is shifting to other areas:

✓more time with God, family & friends
✓growing my tack business
✓upgrades around the farm
✓rediscovering myself and my goals

This is a hard time for me personally. And I truly believe God is calling me to give up some things for the time being. With this comes trust in Him.

Some days I wonder if it's all worth it and I get consumed in trying to figure it all out. But, I have a sense of hope and peace for 2025 being a great year.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to everyone!
