it was SO hot so we did a lot of unmounted activities (including painting Dude, sorry bud but you’ve gotta earn your vet bills now), & Cedar was perfect giving them all mini lessons! Dude’s pride shall recover, as it does every year.❤️🐴

when a thunderstorm comes hours before it was originally forecasted, as my lesson kids arrive, i’d expect some kids to want to go home. these two speed cleaned stalls for me & filled/hung hay nets while i rushed to bring horses in mid storm. some serious brownie points were earned by the boys today, as well as an understanding for just how much these two are committed to this life. what a win for me & the horses today. 🤍🐴

these 4 were off from school so we did a paint & sip, watched horse movies, did some riding (of course), made some really cool clay figures, & the kids got to learn about & help care for a horse with cellulitis (not my horse).
