Kicking off 2026 with new goals, new skills, and a whole lot more saddle time!
CD Equestrian is now enrolling for our 2026 riding lesson program, and we’re excited to welcome new riders into our barn family.

Our program focuses on much more than just riding — we build confident, knowledgeable horse people from the ground up.

• Beginner through advanced lessons
• English & Western riding
• Groundwork & natural horsemanship
• Strong focus on horse care, safety & respect
• Supportive, confidence-building instruction
• PATH-certified instruction for riders with special needs

Winter is when our horses, riders, & barn family rely on each other the most.
This season, we are accepting direct sponsorships & support to help keep riding accessible & our lesson horses well cared for through the winter months.

CD Equestrian is officially opening a limited number of new student spots for the 2026 lesson season!
Whether you’re looking to start your riding journey, refine your skills, or join a supportive barn community — this is your chance.

🎉We are also welcoming participants into our Equine-Assisted Therapy Program for 2026. This is for ALL special needs/developmentally disabled individuals. Neuro-spicy children & adults are encouraged to check us out!
Compassionate instruction, individualized goals, & a safe, confidence-building environment.

❄️WINTER LESSON UPDATE! PLEASE READ❄️

Hey barn crew! As temps start dropping, here’s what you need to know for winter riding at CD Equestrian 👇

🐴 We ride year-round!
Just make sure kiddos are bundled up — layers, warm socks, gloves, & proper boots are a must.

🌡 TOO COLD TO RIDE:
If it’s below 25°F → no riding.
BUT riders are still encouraged to come for unmounted lessons like:
• Grooming
• Tack & horse care
• Horsemanship skills
•ground-level lessons

These sessions are super valuable & still tons of fun! These lessons help to remind kiddos that the horses come first, riding is just a super cool bonus!

🌬 WEATHER NOTE:
Heavy winds, winter storms, & icy conditions may mean lessons get rescheduled. We’ll update you ASAP — thank you for being flexible! ❤️

🚨 HEALTH POLICY (IMPORTANT!)
If ANYONE in your household is sick, please do NOT come to lessons.
We have immunocompromised family & I can’t afford to get sick or be out of work.
If someone arrives sick or reports illness at home, they’ll be asked to head home — absolutely no exceptions.
If you’re unsure, just message me!

We’ll always do our best to make up missed lessons due to weather or illness — just keep communication open ✅
