🍂🐴 Chilly weather is here!

As temperatures continue to drop, just a friendly reminder that the safety and comfort of my horses and riders will always come first!

Cold temperatures, wind chills, and poor footing may affect mounted lessons. When applicable, I can and will pivot to unmounted lessons focusing on horsemanship, groundwork, grooming, and horse care.

Please dress warmly and come prepared for the weather! 🧤❄️

There’s always something to learn, even when we aren’t in the saddle! ❤️

Harper’s very first horse show, and Cedar’s first time stepping into the show ring too. I couldn’t be more proud of this pair. They handled every new experience thrown their way, had so much fun, and came home with some pretty ribbons to show for it.

But the ribbons were just a bonus. Watching Harper walk into that ring with confidence, trust her horse, and enjoy every second of the day was the real win. And Cedar showed exactly why he’s such a special part of our program.. He is steady, patient, and completely willing to take care of his kid.

From their first class to apple bobbing and everything in between, this is definitely a day we won’t forget. 🥹🐴💙

So proud of you, Harper & Cedar. First show officially in the books!

Thank you Woodstock Riding Club for always being so inviting & an amazing atmosphere for these students. Harper can’t wait to come back next year!

✨ **CD Equestrian After School Program — Limited Spots Available** ✨

CD Equestrian is now accepting riders for our new **After School Program**, offered on **Tuesdays and Thursdays** from **3:30–6:00 PM**.

This program is designed for young riders who want to spend more time in the saddle, build confidence around horses, and continue developing their horsemanship skills in a structured barn environment.

Students will have the opportunity to ride, learn hands-on horse care, improve barn skills, and gain valuable experience beyond a traditional weekly lesson.

📅 **Days:** Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ **Time:** 3:30–6:00 PM
🚗 **Flexible drop-off:** Anytime between 3:30–4:30 PM
💰 **Cost:** $300/month
🌧️ **Runs rain or shine**

Discounted pricing is available for families who commit to **3-month blocks**, with the best value offered for those reserving a spot for the **full year**.

This program will have **very limited availability** to ensure each student gets quality time, instruction, and hands-on experience.

If your child is serious about improving their riding and spending more consistent time at the barn, this is a great opportunity.

📚 BACK-TO-SCHOOL SCHEDULING REMINDER

With the new school year approaching, schedules are getting busier—and so is mine. Going forward, I will no longer be reaching out to clients to schedule lessons. If you would like to ride, it is your responsibility to contact me.

Please reach out with at least 10 days’ notice when requesting a lesson. Spots fill quickly, and messages asking for availability the day before are very unlikely to result in an opening.

I also want to make this very clear: please do not question why your child hasn’t ridden in six weeks if you either A) consistently ask for availability at the last minute, or haven’t reached out to schedule at all. I cannot manage everyone’s personal calendars in addition to running my own schedule and businesses.

The easiest solution is to get on a recurring weekly or biweekly schedule. This guarantees consistency and eliminates most scheduling discrepancies. If you prefer not to have a recurring spot, that’s completely fine—but you are responsible for reaching out ahead of time.

Additionally, I have a new client packet outlining all current policies regarding scheduling, weather, illness, cancellations, and other important information. All clients will be required to review, sign, and return this packet to me.

I love teaching you & your kids. I do not love playing calendar detective. 😂 Please plan ahead so I can get everyone in as consistently as possible. 🐴

Accepting Donations 🤍

We recently took in a horse who is in need of significant rehabilitation and supportive care. Out of respect for his privacy and the circumstances surrounding his situation, I will not be publicly sharing his identity or photos during his rehabilitation.

*That being said, I am more than happy to discuss his situation privately with anyone who reaches out and would like to know more about him or his care.*

We are currently accepting donations toward his rehabilitation, including feed, veterinary care, farrier work, medications/supplements, and any other needs that arise along the way.

There is absolutely no obligation to donate. Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly toward giving this horse the care, time, and resources he needs to recover.

Donations can be made via Apple Pay, Cash App, cash, or Square invoice. Please message me privately if you’d like to contribute or learn more.

Horse camp is simultaneously my 13th reason for death AND life.

How weird. 😂

Everyone is alive. Camp was successful. I love the kids dearly.

BUT- Please do not speak to me for 3–5 business days. There was slime. There was bare feet (my worst nightmare, IYKYK). There was a redbull thief. There was glitter. i need to heal from my trauma. 🤣🙃🐴💕

Week 1 of Summer Camp was a success!
crafts, riding, & just enjoying the days (even the really hot ones).
I’m so grateful & blessed to have such amazing kids, horses, & barn help. The best summer yet!❤️🐴

Also, the photos during the hazy sky were taken by Jenna Marie & she’s always SO good at taking candid photos. Thanks lady!
