Congratulations to Posh Ponies and Valerie and Ron Dickey!!

Ron & Valerie Dickey of Posh Ponies, Rogue River, OR were the recipients of the Leading Welsh Breeder at 2025 Pony Finals. This award was generously donated by Amy G. Redman of Summerwood Farm. The award was graciously accepted on behalf of the Dickeys by David O’Conner, Chief of Sport for the USEF.

2015 12.2 Small Welsh Cross Mare by Blue Who. Lovely Short Stirrup to Division pony. Great conformation, holds her own in the hack and is brave to the jumps (doesn’t need to be shown around the ring). Can carry her own motor and changes are still green (and we don’t want her in a program that's just going to run her to the corner!) Preference to a division lease that continues building her resume! Spent winter circuit focusing on fundamentals at home! Get her before we qualify her for 2025. Prefer to lend only, other options possibly available.

Wilson is one of my favorite ponies we ever raised, he absolutely adores any kind of attention. His name is Wilson because he always loved play with the horse yoga ball!!

We are very pleased to once again sponsor the WPCSA Pony Finals Leading Breeder Award. This year the winner will receive a beautiful Cash's of Ireland crystal vase. The Leading Breeder Award is awarded to the highest scoring breeder each year at Pony Finals. We applaud the dedication, blood, sweat and tears that goes into bringing these gorgeous Welsh ponies into the world and preparing them to raise the youth of our sport. I'm super proud of this young pony, Summerwood's Surf's Up (Blue Who x Native Watters). Oakley's owner Ansley Beman shared him with her mom this weekend at the Aiken PSJ Cupid Classic. This whole team has brought this talented boy along since they purchased him and he is truly putting it all together now. Congratulations Heather and Oakley!! 🎉
