Cool Summer Treat for dogs. Trim the ends and cut slits into some carrots 🥕. Soak overnight in UNSALTED chicken broth. Drain and freeze on a flat surface ( so they don’t freeze into a clump). Then put them in a ziplock and give as an occasional cool crunchy treat.
****A few people pointed out that some store-bought broths contain onion extract, which can be problematic for dogs. Thanks for mentioning it! Going forward I’d recommend using plain water, homemade onion-free broth, or a pet-safe broth instead*****

Woody had a great weekend at his AKC debut in Fort Myers! 🏆

He was entered in three shows and came home with 3 Best of Breed wins and earned 2 points.

More importantly, he had a fantastic time and gained valuable experience in a busy show environment. The judges were all so kind and wonderful with a young puppy.

Very proud of this happy little guy. ❤️

So proud of Sully and Gwen 🐾

He recently passed his therapy dog certification with Therapeutic Paws of Canada after a pretty intensive test.

He was such a sweet, slightly shy puppy when he left here, and his owner has done an amazing job with his socializing and training to get him to this point.

I heard one of the parts they were most worried about was taking treats politely… and of course, he nailed it 😉

It means a lot to see my cockers out in the world doing this kind of work. Proud of them both ❤️

The “Tree” litter turned 6 months old on April 1st 🌳✨

This past weekend, ❄ Winter (Ch Nonnies N Jesselle’s Winter Is Coming) made her official debut at the Nickle District Kennel Club 🇨🇦 - and we’re so pleased with how she started her journey.

She finished her Championship in a single weekend, earning:
• Best of Breed x6
• Best Puppy in Group x3
• Group 1st

Winter was bred by Vickie Umpleby and myself, and is co-owned and lives with Christine Crawley. She was beautifully presented by Shelby Lask and Cat St. Martin - so grateful to have such a great team behind her 💙

Excited to watch this girl continue to grow and develop.
