Continued working with Findlay on social settings and how he has gone berserk when facing other dogs while on the leash. He did a great job during our recent outing!

Finlay is working with me through my doggy Boot Camp. We meet once a week for four weeks to balance this 11-month-old and get rid of some unwanted behaviors. His mom said he “loses it” when he’s on the leash around other dogs. Some of that may be because he’s lacking confidence. That’s why I put dogs on the cart in Lowe’s. It helps build confidence.

In recent months I posted Dixie, a 2-year-old I was fostering. Well good news! A couple whose daughter’s dog goes with us to the farm gave Dixie her forever home! She is such a great girl and I found that through her she is part Dachsund/miniaturepoodle/schnauzer. She is loved and creating new memories with her family…and she gets to sleep in the bed with her parents!
