Dogs have a language. Dogs have an order for things. That was confirmed for me with a conversation I had with a dog that would come to be named "Fiona". I say it in that fashion because she was introduced to me as a Husky named "Brutus".
I spoke to Brutus as I would any male dog and I got a different response from any male dog. It was the first time I even questioned if I was wrong. I then went back to step one and started grooming "Brutus". He was so matted, I could not see what made Brutus a Brutus. What I could see was a p*e stain in his fur that did not look like it was in the correct spot for a Brutus.
I immediately started brushing through the p*ed fur. After about thirty mins, I confirmed, Brutus was not an appropriate name. I changed her name to Fiona and started speaking to her as a female. I got instant results. Completely different from when I thought she was Brutus. It confirmed to me I have to speak to a female differently than I do a male.
I have broken down their language into digestible lessons that make sense. I have a lesson available online. Find me on Payhip. RDDM. Search "Payhip RDDM", help me move up from fifth on the search list. Help me alter the algorithm!
