Midge, our cloud-soft, completely blind little dreamer, has always mapped the world with whiskers and wonder. She doesn’t need eyes to see love—and in Geri, she saw it in color.

Geri is the quiet kind of hero—the one who takes in the shattered, the overlooked, the too-broken-for-somebody-else dogs as a treasured foster mom, and teaches them to believe in magic again. But this time, the magic stitched itself right into her own heart.

Look at the photo and you’ll see it: Midge melting into Geri’s shoulder, eyes closed, tiny paw curled around her arm like a lock and key. Thank you Geri 🙏 and welcome home, Midge 🥹
