We have been in the rescue realm for over 10 years now and have ventured out to create Cali's Misfits! We are a 501c3 tax exempt organization. �

We are focusing our rescue efforts local to Orange County, CA and saving kittens in need.

Look at this tiny glow up! Artie came to us after a storm. He was found between two walls with crusty eyes and a lip injury. He was nervous but he clearly felt safe and warmed up quickly 💕 He is going in for neuter soon and will be available to adopt! He is a super lover boy and loves hanging out with his fosters and kitty friends! He even does pretty well with friendly big dogs!

Artie is one of our cuties awaiting vetting. That means we will need to pay for his neuter, finish his vaccines, etc! But we also have been making sure he gets daily care and supplies so he can be this happy baby and prepare for adoption 😍

Pluto wants to say hello!! This nugget was born to a stray in the community and raised indoors by the finders. We helped his momma be spayed and now it's his turn to be adopted!! And his siblings too 😍 Pluto has been raised around other cats, a loving kid and a small dog! Him and his siblings are very well rounded!

Sonny has decided the dog bed in the crate is the best place for an afternoon siesta! 😴🖤 The crate is open, don't worry! It also has a fan on pointing on it so that must be the real seller 😅

Sonny is available to adopt like his brothers! He is a sweet little guy with an extreme mouse toy obsession ☠️

Who remembers our tiny doorstop package?? Moira and Murphy are the survivors from their litter ❤️ It took quite some time for Moira to gain weight and really start to grow but now both are fixed and ready for adoption!! We have a lot of adoptable cuties right now. Which means we've got a lot of vet fees to get them to adoption ready! Spay/neuter, vaccines, snap tests, deworming, flea treatments, and microchips are the bare minimum! We would appreciate it if you could pitch in even a few dollars to help us 😍 thank you!

A HUGE thank you to those of you who donated funds and in kind items! We are so appreciative ❤️

Tony is one of our recent medical kitties. He came to us with a severely damaged eye that needed to be removed ASAP! We thankfully had reserves and were able to get his surgery done right away. Tony is now available for adoption and fully recovered! But now we need to recoop those funds so we can continue helping urgent cases when they come in. ❤️

If you know anyone looking for a cat who will love hard and play hard, Tony is your guy! He may be a little shy at first but once he knows you and feels safe he is all in. He is great with cats and friendly dogs! 🐶🐱

We haven't featured Joaquin in a while! We do have several LONG term Misfits...their adoption interest is low (or zero for some) but they are around! They still require flea treatments, food and other supplies! It's not glamorous to ask for help for long term kitties but they are part of the crew!

With everything going on right now locally and globally I've personally found it tough to post anything. I have so much to say but truly no words. But with all that we still have expenses and we need help. If you can manage it we'd love some funds to recoop recent costs (more posts on these soon) or supplies from our Chewy wishlist!

I thought Joaquin perfectly captured how I feel, crazy 😅 he made me smile, so I hope he can make you smile too ❤️

Happy Fathers Day!! We are so appreciative of all the dads out there. A good dad means more than you may know ❤️ We have some amazing foster dads, we are so thankful for all the TLC you offer to our misfits!

Dads come in all forms, it's not just about biology! We hope you all are having a good day today no matter how you may be celebrating. 💖

We have a lot of thoughts on our current situation. Sure we are a cat rescue but we also believe in love and compassion for human beings. The things we have seen this week are shocking, we are in Santa Ana. Our city feels quiet, the community is angry and scared. We don't have the answers but we know this isn't how it should be. The lack of compassion for other people is heartbreaking. We believe in love. This isn't love, this is hate. So I ask you, do you believe in love and compassion? Stand up for it. ❤️ Stay safe out there. Tony offering his thoughts on the situation 💖

Robbie says hi!! He isn't bothered by the weird weather. He is just hanging with his brothers playing 😍 he is also the first to announce he is adoption eligibile!
