Meet Matlin!
He is about 2 years young, 53 pounds, and has a medium-active, but flexible, energy. He loves to run and play and is fantastic at entertaining himself if you're busy. He loves to just grab a toy and flip it around for himself, or chew on it to pass the time. He would make a fantastic adventure partner as he loves to sniff and explore new surroundings. But he would also love to be your chill cuddle bug at home. This boy can do it all (he just needs a regular daily walk or play time)! He enjoys cooling himself off in the water or hunting for lizards in our play yards. He has done well with dogs, both male and female, with proper introductions (He just needs to get a little energy out on a walk first) and enjoys play. He had lived on and off with a cat and did enjoy a chase when they ran but never acted aggressively towards them. So, a home with a dog savvy feline friend may work, but slow and proper introductions are always recommended. Matlin loves everybody he meets, and recently was the bestest boy with the kids at the Bully Walk.

Meet Milo!
Milo was returned to us when his family faced unforeseen housing issues and unfortunately couldn't care for him. Milo is about 11 years old now and about 65 to 70 pounds (though he could be a bit less chunky). He has known what it is like to be a beloved family member and would love to return to a loving home as soon as possible. Despite his age, Milo still has some s***k and enjoys going on walks and playing in the water. He loves people, is very affectionate and has done great with kids. He lived with another dog, and has done well in the past, though he has gotten crankier in his older age and doesn't want to be bothered as much by other dogs. He may do well in a home with a calm, respectful female dog. And he would thrive as an only dog as well. Cats are unknown. Come meet this sweet older dude at our shelter and help make his stay a short one!

Meet Moo! Moo was found living with unhoused individuals and is about 4 years old, around 80 pounds, and has a medium energy. He has a zest for life and is so excited to see anybody who could potentially give him attention. He has done well around older kids, but is a chunky boy who likes to lean into you, so may knock over smaller children. He walks well on leash once he gets his immediate energy out and knows how to sit (at least for a treat) but is a strong boy when he wants to be. He does well with other dogs and was even living in a tent with cats for a time. Moo is an all around good boy looking for a family to call his own. Come meet this big boy at our rescue!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Actor and bully breed advocate Patrick Stewart. We are grateful for his voice and he and his impact will be missed.

Meet Mamas! This sweet girl is ready for a fresh start! She came to us from Fresno Animal Center after her owner was incarcerated and no one came to claim her. Now she's looking for a loving home where she can continue to learn and thrive.

Gentle and affectionate, she loves everyone she meets and is good with kids. She has a mellow, fairly quiet personality with a playful side and is easy to handle. She does well with medium and large dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. She's also crate trained, comfortable with grooming, and making good progress with house training. A home without cats or small caged animals is recommended.

She loves training, and her adoption includes six weeks of dog training with Sandra Thompson-a wonderful opportunity to build your bond and help her keep learning!

She is currently living in a foster home, so please arrange in advance to meet her.

Meet Marina
A Pocketful of Pittie Perfection!
At just 35 pounds, Marina is proof that you don’t need to be big to be absolutely irresistible! This petite pittie girl is around 3 years old, a little on the lean side, and absolutely adorable.
Marina gets pretty excited when she first gets out to stretch those little legs and explore, but give her just a couple of minutes and she’s ready to settle down. She loves people and has done well with other dogs, too!
We’re still getting to know her around cats and small children, but one thing is certain: this little girl is ready to find a family of her own. 💗
If you’ve been looking for a pint-sized pittie who won’t take up the whole couch (well, she might try! 😉), Marina could be your perfect match!

Meet Goodfellow!
This 70-pound, approximately 3-year-old boy was found living in a field in rural Sanger, where he had been fending for himself for at least a month. Even then, he greeted people with a happy, friendly spirit. Goodfellow is extremely affectionate and loving. He's also silly and playful, with medium energy. He loves toys, leans in for pets, does pretty well on leash, and has done well with older kids. He isn't quite house trained yet, but he's shown that he's a fast learner.
Goodfellow does well with other female dogs, and enjoys playing, but can be possessive of food and toys with other dogs (He has not shown this behavior toward people). Because of this he will likely be best and easiest as an only dog, or with an owner experienced in managing resource guarding who can give him the structure and guidance needed to learn to share with other dogs. No cats please! Come meet this fantastic boy at our shelter and let him show you what a great guy he is!

💕 Meet Chickadee! 💕

This s***ky little bulldog girl is about 4 years old, weighs around 35–40 pounds, and has a medium energy level with a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable package!
Can you make this like she’s a cute mini bulldozer?
Chickadee was originally found as a stray, covered in ticks and scabs, but thankfully, she’s feeling so much better and is ready for the next chapter of her story.
Her favorite things? A comfy couch, a little attention, and just about anybody willing to tell her how cute she is! She absolutely loves people and has done well with other dogs, too.
Of course, Chickadee wouldn’t be a bulldog without a little sass! She has some big feelings about certain things on wheels, especially loud, moving objects like wagons and walkers. She can get a little overexcited and will need some help learning to keep her cool when those things come around. Because she can get a bit too enthusiastic with her greetings, a home with slightly older kids would be the best fit for this girl.
Cats are still a mystery, but one thing we do know is that Chickadee is a sweet, happy girl with lots of love to give and a personality that will keep you smiling!
If you’re looking for a couch loving companion with a little bulldog sass and a whole lot of heart, Chickadee might just be your girl! 🐾

Meet Biff! Biff was originally found as a stray and is about 3 years old, 60 pounds, with a medium energy. Biff has the most hilarious personality that makes everybody around him smile. He is a confident, curious, and adventurous boy who is happy to explore all of his surroundings. He loves water, like playing in his kiddie pool, and will even climb into the tub for a rinse on a warm day. Biff also loves toys, playing, and rolling around on the couch getting all the belly rubs from anybody that will offer. He is a good mix of playful energy that tires out pretty fast and loves getting attention. Biff has done well with dogs of all sizes and loves to play, but he can play too rough when he gets excited, so dogs closer to his size are recommended.
