As we celebrate our 50th anniversary at our current location, we can’t forget Geraldine the hippo. She made the big move with us in 1975 and was a guest favorite until 2003. Geraldine lived to be 48 years old and left a giant impression on everyone who met her.

Don’t let the armor fool you. Rhino skin is surprisingly sensitive. 🦏 Mud wallows act like natural sunscreen and bug repellent, helping protect PJ from the sun and pesky bites.

Our keeper team are ones who feed, train, clean, enrich, and care for our animals every single day. Whether it’s burying enrichment for a porcupine to dig up, or giving attention to any of our other residents, they do it all with dedication (and often times a good laugh).

The Barnyard Buddies just got some cute new faces. 🐐
Meet our newest additions! Five playful Nigerian dwarf goat kids: Nick, Schmidt, Winston, Ferguson, and Benson (Boone)!

Only a few months old, these curious little explorers love climbing, bleating, and checking out every corner of their new home. They’re just starting to settle into the barnyard, but soon they’ll be mixing in with the rest of the crew.
