PET SAFETY: This weekend, heat index values are expected to reach as high as 108 degrees. With Seminole County under a Heat Advisory, pet owners are encouraged to have a plan to keep their furry friends cool.

🐾 Protect your pet’s paws from hot surfaces
☀️ Limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day
💧 Provide plenty of fresh water
🚗 Keep vehicles air-conditioned or windows rolled down for air circulation—and never leave pets alone in a parked car

Miss Cleo and her devoted mother visited BEST VETS for the first time. Our entire team was delighted to meet them and provide care for Cleo, a rescued feline, who is deeply cherished by her mother. It truly is a heartwarming Cinderella story. Welcome to the family, Mom and Cleo! ❤️

Great Idea! Also, if your pet needs any med refills or meds for storm and firework phobias, please call ASAP to inquire about more information on this topic, as we will be closed for the long holiday weekend!

Every year, the days leading up to and following the 4th of July, shelters everywhere fill up with animals frightened by fireworks. ☹️🎆
Please put a phone number on your pet. You don't have to spend any money because you likely already have these things in your home!
Grab some tape (duct tape or painters tape works great), a sharpie or an ink pen and make this minimal effort to keep your pet from ending up at a shelter.
Even if you think there's no way they can or will escape your property, just do it.
Finding a stray animal with a phone number makes it SO SIMPLE to reunite them with their owner.
Let's make a difference this holiday and keep animals from ending up at the shelter.
Lastly, Please spay/neuter your pets.
Shelters are drowning in homeless pets😔
