I'm overdue in recognizing three of the CCS pack members who crossed the rainbow bridge over the summer. Tessa the Lab mix, Marilyn the Chihuahua, and Debbie the tabby cat. Their absence leaves a huge hole here. They are terribly missed. All of them were around 13 years old when they passed. All of them were loved deeply and enough cannot be said about how instrumental they all were in the rehabilitation of hundreds of CCS client dogs and foster dogs and cats.

Laney is a bouncy playful girl who loves to race around and be the life of the party. 🐩 💗 She’d love another playful dog in her forever home, a male dog that is 30lbs or larger- would work best. Laney loves to go for walks and learn new things, so she needs an active family to keep her mind and body busy. She does fine with cats too, but would do best with a dog savvy cat that will set clear boundaries. A fenced in yard is a must for this girl (physical fences only, please), she simply adores playing outside and racing around. She loves children, but due to her exuberance- needs a home with children 8 and over. She is the ultimate velcro girl, so if you enjoy your space and private time- she isn't the girl for you!

We are seeking an experienced dog family for Laney, one that either currently has, or has had a dog in the past- that requires grooming. We adopt to residents of NC only, and prefer a radius of 60 miles from our foster families. To find out if you qualify, apply. Laney's adoption fee is $300.00.

Laney is crate trained, and has basic manners training. She is house trained, and walks well on leash. She has been spayed and microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.

Pinky is a confident gentleman who likes to burrow under blankets. 🐶 ❤️ At only 10 lbs, he's not like other tiny dogs! He does not bark unless he's lonely or he's excited to see you after you've been gone for a while. He walks well on a harness and leash. He currently lives with an older cat who is about his size but he is mostly indifferent to her.

Pinky knows his name and will come when he's called. He is also quick to follow his humans up and down the stairs and out into the garden. Pinky loves his lambchop toy and has recently learned to fetch it.

Pinky is housetrained. He is neutered and current on all vaccines. He is ready to find his forever home. Please note that due to his tiny size, he'd do best in a home where any children are 8 years or older.

We added a catio so the cats can go outside whenever they want. It has made a huge difference in the amount of time they spend at the door trying to slip out.
