🎉 We Did It—$12,100 Raised for Our Mission! 🎉
Helping people help animals—and having fun doing it.

Wow, friends… what an event! Thanks to YOU—our incredible participants, vendors, sponsors, and sharers—Zoomies pulled in a whopping $12,100 to fuel our mission.

Here’s the fun by the numbers:
🐾 130 tickets sold
🏆 5 grand prize winners ($750 each—thanks for accepting a buyout!)
🎁 3 consolation prizes of $200 each

Where it came from:
🎟️ $6,500 from tickets + $2,750 because of the buyout
🤝 $4,000 from generous sponsors
💵 $2,000 in matching grants
🛍️ $850 from vendor fees

That’s nearly $20,000 total raised—with $12,100 going straight to the work we love most: caring for animals and helping people who care for them.

Today we held or largest fundraiser yet, the Reverse 50/50 Raffle. We are grateful for our sponsors, vendors and participants.

We want to thank our 5 winners, who took a buyout offer winning $750 each. By accepting a buyout Zoomies gets to keep more of the money for our mission.

Hi friends,

The Reverse 50/50 Raffle drawing is tomorrow! We sold 130 tickets and are so excited for this event. Here is a quick rundown.

The drawing will consist of a numbered ball, 1 for each purchase. The ball order is in the order of purchase, i.e. purchase number 1 is ball 1 and purchase number 100 is ball 100. We will have a sheet with the ball numbers, and when a ball is drawn we will announce the number and the name associated with the purchase.

3:00 PM doors are open

3:30 PM Announcements

3:35 PM Drawing starts

The winners circle will be convened as soon as the initial drawing is completed.

Final announcements will be made once the winners circle drawing has been completed.

Vendors will be present during the entire event. We are very excited and grateful for your participation. Tell friends and family to come and join the fun.

Guess who got adopted yesterday?!?

Our sweetest girl, Tilly!

We’re not surprised, of course. We knew the moment we picked her up as a stray that she and her pups would get adopted in no time.

🙂 Thanks to our friends at Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption for giving her a safe place to stay for a week after her spay surgery and for helping us find her forever home. We couldn’t save all the strays we do without their help!

I really wish it was Sunday already because I could really use a good cup of this coffee right meow!

Anyway! I have to wait like everyone else (unless you know where they’ll be set up slinging Joe in the meantime!) But Vetern’s of America Roastery will be joining up at the Summer Vendor Event Extravaganza and Zoomies $50,000 Reverse 50/50 Raffle!
