Long before they join their families, their first lessons in being a dog happen right in the whelping box. Through playtime with their littermates and daily life with their momma, these Mini Goldendoodle puppies begin learning the social skills they’ll carry with them for life.

We do have our sweet little chocolate girly from this litter who will be hoping to snuggle on a very special family’s lap this summer. Is that you? 🤎

Don’t wait until the week of the Fourth of July to start preparing your puppy or dog for fireworks.

A little preparation now can make a big difference later. Search for fireworks sound desensitization videos for dogs and begin introducing those sounds at a low volume.

Start slowly and gradually increasing the volume and duration over the next couple of weeks. The goal is for your dog to stay relaxed and comfortable throughout the process.

Be sure to watch for signs of stress and adjust as needed. Some dogs will leave the room, hide, or bark, but stress can also be much more subtle. Lip licking, yawning, panting, pacing, trembling, or avoiding interaction can all be signs that your dog is feeling overwhelmed.

And most importantly, keep your dog safe and secure on the Fourth. Even dogs who are normally confident can become frightened by fireworks. Make sure they are in a secure location, have access to a quiet space, and consider playing calming music or white noise to help mask outside sounds.

A few minutes of training each day now can help your dog feel much more confident when the fireworks begin. 🐾🇺🇸

Have you ever noticed newborn puppies twitching while they sleep?

Those tiny little movements are referred to as “Activated Sleep” and is actually something we love to see! They happen when puppies are in a deep, restful sleep—exactly where they need to be during these important first weeks of life. Because their nervous systems are still developing, these wiggles and kicks help build muscle tone, coordination, and strength while they sleep.

Right now, their world is simple: stay warm, nurse, sleep, grow, and repeat. To support that, we work hard to provide a calm, peaceful environment with a cozy whelping area, consistent warmth, and a quiet space where mom can relax and focus on caring for her babies.

When mom feels safe and comfortable, the puppies do too. And when puppies feel safe, they settle into deeper sleep. That’s when you’ll often see those adorable little twitches as their bodies and nervous systems continue to develop.

These early weeks are incredibly important and pass by so quickly. There are no shortcuts and no do overs, which is why we put so much thought into creating a low stress environment where both mom and puppies can thrive.

So the next time you see a sleeping puppy twitch, know that it’s a wonderful sign that they’re doing exactly what nature intended, growing, developing, and resting peacefully. ❤️

✨ One Week Old & Growing Strong ✨

We are excited to introduce Millie and Bubba’s Meadow litter! These sweet sisters are already stealing our hearts and are thriving at one week old.

💜 Meet Aster 💜
Our gorgeous chocolate girl is simply stunning! Aster has a rich, dark wavy coat and snuggly nature. She may be tiny, but she’s already making a big impression with her sweet face and irresistible puppy cuddles.

We expect these puppies to mature between 15 to 25 pounds with beautiful soft, wavy coats and the affectionate, people focused temperaments that we love so much from this pairing.

For now, their days consist of nursing, sleeping, gaining weight, and soaking up all the love from Millie. Before we know it, their eyes and ears will open and we can’t wait to watch their personalities blossom over the coming weeks!
