We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and collaborative community of veterinary professionals. Every conversation, hands-on session, and lecture reminded us how impactful it is when our community comes together to share knowledge and elevate patient care. 📚🐾

Halloween fun can be a little spooky for our furry friends — but a few simple precautions can help keep the night stress-free and safe:

🐾 Keep candy out of reach.
Chocolate and sugar-free treats containing xylitol can be toxic to pets.

🎭 Watch the costumes.
Choose outfits that don’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision — and skip them if your pet seems uncomfortable.

🚪 Prevent escape artists.
Trick-or-treaters coming and going can make it easy for pets to slip out. Keep them in a quiet, secure room during peak hours.

🕯️ Decorate carefully.
Pets can easily knock over candles or chew on decorations, leading to burns or blockages.

👻 Create a calm space.
Doorbells, costumes, and new noises can be overwhelming — a quiet area with familiar bedding can help your pet feel safe.

This Halloween, make sure the only scares are the fun kind! 💜
