Missy first came to me in March with a coat that had a lot of soft undercoat and a cottony texture. Twelve weeks later, I was happy to see improvement. There was noticeably less undercoat to remove, and the coat was lying flatter with a better texture overall.
I did some additional carding before clipping to help remove dead coat and encourage healthier regrowth. Coat restoration takes time and consistency, but it's rewarding to see progress from one appointment to the next.

Miss Pearl came in for her third appointment today. 💕

She's still a nervous girl and tends to be wary of strangers. Mom tells me that's part of her personality at home as well, so some of her anxiety during grooming is simply who she is.

That said, I do think we've made progress. While Pearl still gets nervous, the amount of time needed to complete her groom has decreased significantly compared to our first appointments. Building trust takes time, especially with sensitive dogs, and every positive experience helps.

Today's visit focused on keeping things calm, comfortable, and positive while getting her cleaned up and looking adorable. I'm proud of how far she's come already, and I'm looking forward to continuing to build her confidence with each visit.

Miss Daisy wore those mats so beautifully that the fluff we removed is the only evidence we have. ☁️

A gentle bath and de-matting session helped her feel more comfortable as she settles into foster care and begins her next chapter.

Just days after leaving the shelter, Miss Daisy is already starting to relax and shine. A gentle de-matting session helped her feel more comfortable, and her sweet personality is beginning to bloom.

Simba came back after 2 months, and his family wanted to keep his fluffy look ☁️
So this visit was all about maintenance: clean face, tidy feet, balanced shape, and keeping him cute while making the coat easier to manage ✂️
I love seeing a haircut grow out beautifully between appointments.

After some adventures, Pearl needed a coat reset—some matting close to the skin. She left clean, short, and mat-free.
For maintaining difficult coats consider my other services : bath + nails between grooms + weekly brushout (teeth, nails, tear stain removal). 🐾
