NEW SCAM on FB.
Be very careful and scammers are getting very creative. I received a notice that looked like it was directly from FB. The notice said that my business page was being suspended, blah, blah, it then proceeded to take me off FB to a page requesting my information, name, phone number, and business page, and from there it proceeded to ask me to create a new password and something else. At that point, I know it is a scam. FB will always send to request password and will have you verify your e-mail from there. It will never ask you to create a new password offsite. So I did not continue and I went back to original message to investigate. Plus my wonderful virus & online protections kicked it! Kudos!!
If you notice, what they did was create a FB account and called it " 14 Hours to respond - 305.... They make it appear as mail coming from FB in your messages. Clicking on the message and page will immediately take you offline, where they attempt to get your personal information and passwords. I reported the profile to FB. Hopefully, they will do a better job of removing this scam page than they do of removing fake duplicated profiles of members online.
Sharing this with you so no one else accidentally falls for it. it is a pretty slick trick. Glad I still have my wits about me and they did not get any information that is not already publicly known.
Also, if you are looking for a great additional virus protection for your system download "uBlock Origin". It is free and works amazingly at warning you of dangerous sites. And change your passwords regularly! Can't emphasize that enough!
