A big day for shelter pets is almost here. 🐾

California Adopt-a-Pet Day is this Saturday, June 6, and our San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus is ready to be part of something big. Shelters across California are teaming up with a statewide goal of helping 5,000 pets find loving homes in one day, and we have so many wonderful dogs hoping Saturday is the day they get to go home.

Whether you’re looking for a goofy best friend, a walking buddy, a couch companion or just a dog who makes life a little better, this is a great time to visit the shelter and meet them. Adoption fees are waived for this special event, and adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and a custom engraved ID tag.

Come see us Saturday and help make it a big day for our dogs. ❤️

Tiny kittens. Big appetites. Even bigger need for foster homes. 🐾

Bottle babies are some of the youngest kittens in our care. They are too little to be adopted just yet, so they need temporary foster homes where they can be fed, kept warm, loved on and given time to grow.

If you have ever wanted to help kittens but worried you do not have enough experience, this is your sign. We provide the formula, food, supplies and medical care. We will also help walk you through the process and are available for any questions and refills on supplies.

What kittens need most is a safe, clean space, patience and someone willing to help them through their tiniest stage of life.

Fostering can be short-term, usually anywhere from 0 to 8 weeks depending on the kitten’s age and needs. Foster volunteers must be 18+, keep foster animals separate from household pets as needed and follow care guidelines.

These little ones may be small, but when we get fosters like you it makes a huge difference.
