📢 Announcing the ***NEW*** Rivco MVP: Most Vulnerable Pets - San Jacinto (Official) networking group!

We'd like to introduce you all to a new strategy in our efforts to increase lifesaving. As part of our initiative, we have launched a Facebook group dedicated to networking at-risk pets at the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus.

Our networkers do so much work to find our most vulnerable pets (MVPs) placement with fosters, rescues, and even loving adopters. Our staff are now working to gather content and posting notes so the networkers can get straight to sharing.

We encourage you to join the group if you'd like to help us find these pets placement! We'll be posting pets at risk as well as injured or ill pets seeking the comfort of a foster home. As this group grows, we hope to see our long-stay residents, kennel-stressed dogs, and bottle baby kittens find their way out of the shelter faster.

This is just one step towards saving more lives. Stay tuned for more exciting efforts to come!

So, let's get started - join the group and help us find amazing outcomes for Aspen, Daisy, Lulu, Tucker, and more! 🩵

Today is Check the Chip Day!
Here at the San Jacinto shelter, we know how important microchips are when it comes to getting pets back home. Our Lost & Found team uses them every single day to reunite families.

A microchip is a tiny, permanent form of ID that cannot be lost like a collar or tag. With a quick scan at a shelter or vet, your contact information appears and makes it much more likely your pet will find their way back to you. Just remember, a chip only works if your contact info is current.

Take a minute today to check your pet’s microchip information.

She has a beautiful tan and white coat and walks well on a leash. Unfortunately, she has been at the shelter for too long. This sweet and friendly girl is eager to share her love and is ready for a forever home filled with hugs and companionship.
