This tiny female kitten was rescued from a highway after a finder stopped to save her. It is unclear what happened—she may have been struck, fallen from a vehicle, or suffered another type of trauma.

🐾 Female domestic shorthair
🐾 Approximately 2–3 months old
🐾 Approximately 3 pounds
🐾 Rear foot is severely swollen
🐾 Able to move around but drags her back leg
🐾 Eating well and has passed a normal, solid stool

Although she is alert and eating, her injury may be serious. She urgently needs a veterinary examination and a safe foster or rescue placement where she can recover.

SAN ANTONIO: SA Animal Care Services 🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTERS NEEDED TODAY 🚨

Last night’s severe storms left our shelter without power, and our operations are heavily affected as we work to restore it.

We urgently need short-term foster heroes to help get dogs out of the shelter and into temporary homes for a week or two.

If you can open your home to a shelter pup, please come to San Antonio Animal Care Services as soon as possible. Every dog who leaves for foster care helps create more space and gives us greater flexibility during this emergency.

Meet Jackie 🤎

Jackie is a senior female Chihuahua at San Diego Animal Control in San Diego, Texas, and she is looking for a safe placement.

Jackie is approximately 9 years old, weighs 16.6 lbs, and has a brown coat. Her intake notes describe her as sweet and playful. She can appear shy or fearful at first, but she responds well to calm, patient handling and gentle verbal reassurance. Once she feels secure, she begins to relax and show a more affectionate side.

At this time, her behavior with other dogs is still being assessed. Based on observation, slow introductions and a calm environment would be recommended.

🚨 Actions for Wang Wang🚨

Email the Chinese Embassy in the US at
chinaembpress/[email protected] and respectfully urge Chinese officials and lawmakers to enact strong, enforceable animal protection laws.

Write to the White House as President of China Xi Jinping will be meeting with President Trump in late Sept.

Ask Trump to please speak for animals during his meeting.

Go to whitehouse.gov which is their contact pg, scroll down to contact and click on it, then write your message/email.

How to spread Wang Wang’s story:

Go to Google Maps, find tourist attractions in China, leave a review telling Wang Wang’s story. Add a photo
Tag the Chinese govt under every Wang Wang post.



Send a short proposal for a Wang Wang google doodle for International Wang Wang day Aug 28th.
