Parrot Education and Adoption Center Sharing current information and correcting misconceptions about parrots is the major aim of Parrot Education & Adoption Center.

Parrot Education & Adoption Center (PEAC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to educating current and potential bird owners and was founded in 1996. Our goal is to stay current with the latest developments in the world of aviculture and to share this knowledge with our members and the general public through educational seminars and other public events.

We received a very sweet update about Tequila (adopted from PEAC this year) and his brother, Dill. They are really enjoying spending time together, grooming each other, chitchatting and hanging out with one another in their outside aviary.

Please help us welcome our very first Egyptian god, Ptah! 😉 Ptah is a Goffin’s Cockatoo who is at least 30 years young. 🥰 He is still settling into foster care and may not be ready for visitors real soon. He’s a little shy, but he really loves to be around other parrots, especially green-colored parrots. 💚💚
