Parrot Education and Adoption Center Sharing current information and correcting misconceptions about parrots is the major aim of Parrot Education & Adoption Center.

Parrot Education & Adoption Center (PEAC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to educating current and potential bird owners and was founded in 1996. Our goal is to stay current with the latest developments in the world of aviculture and to share this knowledge with our members and the general public through educational seminars and other public events.

This Mother’s Day, we have a special thank you for a foster mom who has gone above and beyond for her PEAC foster, Titan.

♥️Titan has received a lot of vet care since her rescue. We learned that she has heart and arthritis issues and seems to have had a back injury in the past.

♥️Not only has Titan’s foster mom taken her to many appointments, she also provides so much love, nutrition, at least 5 daily medications, and has constructed special accommodations in her cage, like the wide, flat perch covered with a sea grass mat in this photo.🦜

🙏🏼THANK YOU to Titan’s foster mom & THANK YOU to our generous donors who make this care possible. Without you, we could not take in special parrots who need so much vet care and medications.

You’ll notice Titan is not yet listed as adoptable. We hope to get there soon. The right person, willing to care for her needs, must be out there somewhere.

❤️💙💚 Adoptable Joker has settled in nicely as a foster bird in the PEAC flock. He is a very silly boy who lives up to his name. Joker not only laughs but also has a decent vocabulary.

❤️💙💚 He’s transitioning to a pelleted diet, but we aren’t quite 100% converted yet. He is a joy to be around. Interested to adopt?
