Parrot Education & Adoption Center (PEAC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to educating current and potential bird owners and was founded in 1996. Our goal is to stay current with the latest developments in the world of aviculture and to share this knowledge with our members and the general public through educational seminars and other public events.

It hurts our hearts when we have to say no to a bird in need or tell them they can go on our wait list. We can always use more fosters in southern CA! ⭐️Gumby is making healthy choices! He came into our care from a life with a mostly seed diet. He’s already converted to pellets and LOVES veggies. He gets into place as soon as he sees his foster mom getting the veggie chop ready. Way to go, Gumby!

👀Looking for quick and easy enrichment ideas? Weaving packing paper through cage bars from online shopping deliveries is cheap for you and fun for your parrots. 🦜 You can easily hide toys and treats in it for them to find. Share some of your ideas in the comments.

🤩Adoptable Gumby is a pro with his stationing perch when it’s time to go in his cage for dinner or for bedtime. 🎉 This is a skill he learned in foster. Way to go, Gumby!

❤️You may recall posts about Titan’s limited mobility and the special accommodations her foster parents built for her. With medications and daily movement, she has been building strength! Looks like she’s ready to upgrade her cage. We are so proud of Titan and thankful for the special love and physical therapy she’s getting in foster care. 🎉
