We are a full service veterinary clinic that offers wellness care, advanced diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, anesthetic COHATs (comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment), acupuncture, endoscopy, and more. We have been in Mira Mesa for over 30 years and pride ourselves on practicing quality veterinary medicine and providing kind and compassionate care for all of our patients.

🐾 Meet Dr. Wyman! 🐾
Originally from southern Maine, Dr. Wyman earned his Animal Science degree from Cornell University and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in California. He’s passionate about proactive wellness care and building lasting relationships with pets and their people—whether it’s a bouncy new puppy or a treasured senior companion. ❤️

At home, he’s joined by his sweet senior dog, Gracie, who never says no to a car ride or a sunny spot on the deck. When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll find him running along the coast or surf fishing for halibut at sunrise. 🌊🎣

Let’s talk about Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)—a serious and contagious disease that affects cats' immune systems.

Did you know?
🔹 FeLV is one of the leading causes of death in cats.
🔹 It spreads through saliva, grooming, sharing food bowls, or bites.
🔹 Cats who go outdoors or live with other cats are most at risk.
🔹 There’s no cure, but vaccination and early testing can protect your pet.

If your cat spends time outdoors or with other cats, talk to us about FeLV testing and vaccines to keep them safe.

🐣🌷 Happy Easter from Center Veterinary Clinic! 🌷🐣

As you celebrate with family, friends, and lots of chocolate, don’t forget about your furry family members! 🐶🐱 Here are some Easter pet safety tips to keep tails wagging all weekend long:

🐾 No Chocolate for Pets! Chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats—keep those Easter baskets out of reach!

🌸 Watch Out for Lilies: These beautiful blooms are highly toxic to cats. Keep them out of your home if you have feline friends.

🍬 Beware of Xylitol: This artificial sweetener, found in sugar-free gum and candy, is extremely dangerous to pets—even in small amounts.

🎀 Skip the Easter Grass: That shiny plastic grass may look fun, but it can cause intestinal blockages if ingested by curious pets.

🥚 Egg Hunts with Care: Keep track of all eggs—real or plastic—so your pet doesn’t find one later and turn it into a dangerous snack.
