This dog had a much needed eyelid reduction surgery to help improve his vision. This was unusual because only one eye was affected. He is able to see much better now thanks to the dedicated work of our board-certified surgeon.

While the spleen plays an important role in circulation and immunity, it can also develop masses that rupture. Symptoms include pale gums, lethargy, and tense/distended abdomen. This dog experienced a splenic rupture which needed emergent surgical removal. Pets can live long and healthy lives without a spleen, as we expect this dog will.

Did you know that overfeeding your pet can cause more than vomiting and obesity? The top radiograph you will see an overfed pets stomach and the bottom you will see a regular size stomach. Overfeeding can lead to gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV), often referred to as bloat or twisted stomach, which is a serious emergency medical condition in dogs. It is always important to only feed as directed by your veterinarian.

The journey of our patient Blue is remarkable. Her family never gave up hope that she could one day walk again.

Blue came to us needing her knee surgery which was a big success. It was unfortunate to see Blue back due to being in a car accident. Thanks to the doctors and staff here, we helped guide Blue's owners towards means of fixing her paralysis. And fortunately she's all better!! Check out her story!
