For the past year, I’ve had the honor of caring for Shadow while his family prepared his new barn and fence. Yesterday, he finally went home — his forever home. ❤️

Seeing him walk into the place built just for him and loved so deeply by his family was the happiest sight. I’ll miss my daily moments with him, but my heart is full knowing Shadow is exactly where he belongs. 🐴🏡✨

For all my new followers, here are a few fun facts about me:

1️⃣ I get to live my dream job—caring for farm animals while their families are on vacation. ☁️
2️⃣ I’m passionate about animals 🐴🐶🐔 and serving my community ❤️
3️⃣ Born & raised in Marietta, GA 🍑 → proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy 🌊⚓🇺🇸 before retiring to small-town life.
4️⃣ My farm family includes:
• Sailor and Anchor🐎🐎⚓️
• 5 mini ponies: Silo, Popcorn, Happy, Dapple & Navy 🐴
• A donkey named Blueberry who thinks he’s a horse 🤭
• 3 dogs: Ever (my human-like chocolate lab) + Olive & Sundae (my shih tzus) 🐶
• 7 chickens with names as fun as their personalities 🐔 1 baby chick
5️⃣ Married 10 years 💍 (we met in the Navy!) → tied the knot at the Memphis Zoo 🐘 and now live our best life in Moscow, TN.
6️⃣ My parents are still happily married after 48 years ❤️ and I have one sister, Kelli (aka Birdie 🐦).
7️⃣ My favorite title of all? Lovie 💕 to my beautiful granddaughter Laylani (3 years old).
8️⃣ I’m a sunshine + ocean girl 🌊☀️ (lived in Hawaii 6 years 🌺) … cold weather and snow? Not my thing ❄️🥶
9️⃣ I also serve up smiles at Southern Girls Café on the Moscow Square—come see me for lunch sometime! 🥗
