Freddie’s favorite place is curled up with his dad. Help keep him there. 💛

After swallowing an object that caused a dangerous blockage, one-year-old Freddie needed lifesaving veterinary care, an unexpected expense his family couldn’t manage alone.

His dad is an active-duty Marine. When Freddie needed help, his family turned to FACE. Now, we’re turning to our community.

Your donation helps fund Freddie’s care and keeps beloved pets with the families who love them.

🐾 Give through the 🔗 in our bio or below to help Freddie. Every gift matters, and every share helps his story reach someone who can give.

Dexter had his moment behind the mic! 🎙️🐾

Thank you to Drew Schlosberg, host of The Nation’s Longest Running Community Podcast and the Cloudcast Media team for welcoming FACE Executive Director Kerstin Lynam, Jordyn, and her dog Dexter to the show!

Kerstin shared FACE’s mission, while Jordyn shared Dexter’s story and her experience seeking help for his hip care. Having Dexter there made the conversation even more special. 💛

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share how access to veterinary care makes a difference for pets and the families who love them.

Their care is part of our story. 💛🐾

Veterinary Specialty Hospital has been a longstanding partner in helping FACE save pets’ lives. Their team provides the expert veterinary care that gives beloved pets a second chance, and their families more time together.

We’re grateful for their continued partnership and sponsorship of FACE’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. Thank you, VSH, for the compassion you bring to your work and for helping make so many happy homecomings possible.

No family should have to say goodbye to a beloved pet simply because they can’t afford lifesaving care. 💛🐾

At FACE, we hear from families facing that heartbreaking possibility, the fear of losing their best friend, their child’s constant companion, or the pet who has carried them through their hardest days.

Support from Escondido Community Foundation helps us give those families somewhere to turn. It means a chance for a pet to come home. More walks together. More bedtime snuggles. More time with someone they love.

We’re deeply grateful to Escondido Community Foundation, an affiliate of San Diego Foundation - for recognizing FACE among seven nonprofits at its Grants Celebration and supporting our mission to save pets and keep families together.

Because they’re never “just a pet.” They’re family. 💛

🚨 A routine morning potty break turned into an emergency when Penny was attacked by a coyote. 💔

At 13 years old, Penny should be spending her days feeling safe and loved. Instead, she needed urgent care to repair her wounds and place drains after the attack. For her mom, a single mother supporting her son, the fear of losing her beloved girl was compounded by a veterinary bill she couldn’t afford on her own.

FACE pledged $2,700 toward Penny’s lifesaving care, and you can help. 🐾

❤️ Donate to help Penny get the care she needs and stay with the family who loves her. 🔗 in bio or ⬇️

🌟 Today’s the day, San Diego Gives! 💛

This year, giving means even more as FACE celebrates 20 years of saving pets and helping families stay together. 🐾

Over the past two decades, our community has helped us save more than 5,000 lives 💛 5,000 beloved pets who were able to receive the critical veterinary care they needed when their families had nowhere else to turn.

Today, we’re asking you to help us continue that legacy.

✨ Our San Diego Gives goal is $2,500. Every gift helps write the next chapter of FACE. 🐾
