Established in 2006, The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of companion animals by providing access to necessary medical care and education.

🐾 Meet Aspen — a 4-month-old bundle of energy, joy, and way-too-cute puppy eyes 💛 Unfortunately, after a playful leap, Aspen suffered a severe leg fracture that required urgent surgery to prevent lifelong pain and limited mobility. 💔

Her loving mom, already facing reduced work hours and financial hardship, was devastated. But thanks to your support and our partners at Aspen has a chance at a full, happy, and zoomie-filled life. 🐶✨

🐱 Sweet Karomi, a 4-month-old Bombay kitten, was doing what curious kittens do best—playing with a piece of string. 🧵 But what seemed like harmless fun turned into a life-threatening emergency when the string became lodged in her intestines. 💔

🏥 Urgent surgery was the only way to save her. Her family, who had only welcomed her into their lives two months earlier, was devastated—the cost of the procedure was far beyond their means, and they feared losing Karomi far too soon. 😿

💛 Thanks to FACE supporters and the amazing veterinary team , Karomi received the surgery she needed. Today, she’s safe, healthy, and back to being her playful, silly self—filling her home with joy again. 🎉🐾

🌈 Sixteen and a half beautiful years. That’s how long Tinka, a sweet dachshund, filled her mom’s life with joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. 🐾❤️

But when Tinka was just five, everything changed—she suddenly became paralyzed due to IVDD. The fear of losing her too soon was overwhelming. Then, FACE stepped in. 💛 Because of the support from donors like YOU, Tinka received the surgery she desperately needed— and she walked again.

Thanks to that second chance, Tinka didn’t just survive— she lived. She walked by her mom’s side through marriage, through the birth of a child, and through every moment that made their life together so full.

Yesterday, her mom said goodbye to her beloved Tinka, but she shared this message with us:

🐾 When Milo, an 8-month-old Himalayan kitten, stopped eating and suddenly collapsed while trying to walk to his young human, his family rushed him to the ER—only to learn he had a life-threatening urinary blockage. ⏳ The vet said if they had waited any longer, his bladder could have ruptured. 💔

🏠 His mom, a single parent of two, has been working tirelessly to support her children and their new furry family member. Without access to financing and already stretched thin, she reached out to FACE with a heartfelt plea for help.

⚡🐶 Meet Guido — a goofy, lovable 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who had just found his forever home after being adopted from the local humane society. He brought instant joy, tail wags, and endless cuddles into his new family’s life. 💛

😢 But everything changed in a flash. One innocent moment of curiosity led Guido to chew on an electrical cord—resulting in severe electrocution injuries. He was rushed to the ER with fluid in his lungs (noncardiogenic pulmonary edema) and painful oral burns. It was a terrifying ordeal for both Guido and his family.

🩺 His family did everything they could, but with just one income and limited resources, the cost of emergency oxygen therapy and hospitalization was out of reach. They were heartbroken—and desperate to save their sweet boy.

🙏 Thanks to our generous supporters, Guido received the life-saving care he needed at VCA Animal Hospital – Hotel Circle. Today, he’s safe at home, healing, and back to being the joyful pup his family loves so much.

🐾 Meet Sosa — an adorable 8-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who’s been her family’s heart and soul since she was just a puppy. 🐶👨‍👩‍👧 She’s grown up surrounded by love, belly rubs, and plenty of couch cuddles. 🛋️💕

😢 Recently, Sosa faced a scary medical emergency — she was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that required emergency surgery to save her life. 🩺💔

💬 Her loving family, though both parents work steady jobs, lives on a limited income and simply couldn’t afford the cost of the urgent care she needed. The thought of losing Sosa was devastating. 💔

🙌 Thanks to FACE Foundation and our generous supporters, Sosa received the life-saving surgery she needed at and is now safely back home. 🏥💛
