💓 Meet Pudge Jr., a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a big personality and an even bigger fanbase, is known for cozy movie nights, his love of paper destruction (but never furniture!), and charming everyone he meets. He even has fans from his local vet’s costume contest and receives sweet messages from children with disabilities who adore him.

So when Pudge suddenly fell ill due to a urinary obstruction and needed urgent hospitalization, his mom was devastated. As a school-year employee, her income disappears during breaks, leaving her to rely on unemployment benefits that barely cover her living expenses—let alone emergency vet bills.

With nowhere else to turn, she was referred to FACE, and thanks to your support and the expert care of in Oceanside, Pudge Jr. received the life-saving treatment he needed.

Today, Pudge is back home, snuggled up watching movies with his mom and bringing joy to everyone who knows him—just like he always has.

From his mom:
“Thank you for saving my Pudge. I don’t think we could have him here if not for the grant. I’ll donate as soon as I’m able so someone else can have this experience too. I can’t put into words how much this is appreciated.”

⚠️ April is Heartworm Awareness Month — Protect Your Pets! 🐾

Heartworm disease is serious, and entirely preventable. Just one mosquito bite can put your pet at risk.

Here’s what every pet parent should know:

We 💛 The Grey Muzzle Organization

At 13 years old, Brody faced a serious health crisis—painful bladder stones that required surgery. His devoted mom, a retiree living on Social Security, was heartbroken. “He is my world... I feel terrible I don't have the funds to help my boy, but he is my best friend and I am his,” she shared.

With the help of a Grey Muzzle grant, though, our friends at FACE Foundation were able to cover the cost of Brody’s surgery—giving this sweet senior pup a second chance at living his best life and allowing his mom to hold onto the most important companion in her life. 💛

Teddy’s Story: A Gentle Soul, a Fierce Fighter

When 10-year-old Teddy—a sweet, sensitive Cockapoo with eyes that speak louder than words—was diagnosed with a**l gland adenocarcinoma, his loving family was devastated. A cancer diagnosis is heartbreaking for any pet parent, but the emotional toll is only compounded by the overwhelming cost of treatment.

Teddy’s family had already faced hardship—living on a single income after one owner lost her job—but they never gave up. They maxed out savings, launched a GoFundMe, and did everything they could to fight for Teddy’s life.

Thanks to the compassionate care of 🩺 and the generous support of 💜 a FACE grant made it possible for Teddy to receive life-saving radiation therapy.

🐈‍⬛ Who knew earbuds could be so… tempting? Felix, a curious 1.5-year-old Domestic Shorthair with dazzling green eyes, decided they looked more like a snack than a tech accessory—landing him in the ER for emergency surgery.

Felix’s loving owner, a hardworking student and retail associate, had already stretched his resources thin trying to cover the initial care. After launching a GoFundMe and doing everything he could, he turned to FACE in a moment of hope.

Thanks to YOUR support and the compassionate team at 🏥, Felix received the life-saving surgery he needed. Today, he’s back home, purring, playful, and steering clear of electronics!

🐈 Cheeto Puff isn’t just a cat—he’s family. This sweet, gentle 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair, known for his soft fur and heart-melting purr, faced yet another life-threatening urinary blockage. Without immediate surgery, his life was at risk.

💔 His devoted family had already spent $5,000 on previous medical care and had exhausted their resources. When this emergency struck again, they were heartbroken, unable to afford the surgery he desperately needed.

Meet Honey! 🍯 Honey’s heart is full of love, her energy boundless, and her presence lights up every room. Whether she’s strolling the beach, stargazing, or simply soaking in gentle affection, she brings joy wherever she goes. But when Honey was diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc (IVDD)—a severe spinal injury that could lead to paralysis—her future became uncertain.

Her family did everything they could to get her the care she needed, spending thousands on initial treatments and even launching a fundraiser. But despite their efforts, the cost of life-saving spinal surgery was still out of reach.

That’s when FACE Foundation stepped in. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, The Grey Muzzle Organization and the expert care at Honey received the critical surgery she needed to walk again!

Now, just weeks after surgery, Honey is back home, happy, healing, and wagging her tail—a true testament to the power of second chances.
