In FIFe, the LOWER the class number, the HIGHER your cat has progressed in the title system! 🏆

You do NOT have to already be showing in FIFe to join us!

The Open Doors Policy allows you to enter cats in Classes 9–14. For pedigreed cats, all we need is a copy of a 3-generation pedigree!

🐾 4–8 months → Class 12 Kitten
🐾 8–12 months → Class 11 Junior
🐾 12+ months, Entire → Class 9 Open
🐾 12+ months, Neutered → Class 10 Neuter

What is the FIFe Open Doors Policy?

One of the biggest questions we receive is:

“Can I exhibit if my cat is registered with TICA, CFA, or another registry?”

The answer is YES! 🎉

FIFe’s Open Doors Policy allows exhibitors from other recognized registries to experience a FIFe show without transferring their cat’s registration.

✅ Cats registered with other recognized registries are welcome.
✅ Simply provide a copy of your cat’s 3-generation pedigree.
✅ Your cat will be judged using the official FIFe Breed Standard by licensed FIFe judges.
✅ You’ll receive a detailed written judge’s report for every cat you exhibit.

Which classes can I enter?
🐱 Class 14 - Household Pet
🐱 Class 12 – Kittens (4–8 months)
🐱 Class 11 – Juniors (8-12 months)
🐱 Class 10 – Neuters
🐱 Class 9 – Open Class (adult cats beginning their FIFe journey)

Whether you’re coming from TICA, CFA, CCA, WCF, GCCF, or another recognized registry, the Open Doors Policy is a fantastic way to experience the FIFe system and international-style judging.
