Savoring the little moments....

These days go by so fast. Our Cosmic Sunlit Forest babies are almost 2 weeks old already, and we’re soaking in every snuggle, stretch, and sleepy little squeak.

The Cosmic Care Bears are recovering beautifully from their spay and neuter surgeries.

On the car ride home yesterday they were definitely feeling a little extra—wide-eyed, wiggly, and far more energized than we expected 😄—but thankfully the moment we got home they settled right in.

Today? You’d never know they had surgery at all.

Their resilience never stops amazing me. These babies have such bright little spirits and bounce back with so much strength and heart. We’ll continue keeping a close eye on everyone and making sure they stay comfortable as they heal.

At the same time, our hearts are starting to feel the bittersweet reality that two of these precious babies will be heading home to their forever families next weekend. 🥹❤️

Saying goodbye has never been something I’ve gotten good at under any circumstances.

And it is no different with our kittens...these babies are raised right here in our home, surrounded by our family every single day. We celebrate every milestone, cheer on every brave little adventure, and pour so much love into them from the very beginning. They become such a meaningful part of our hearts.

That’s why when a family adopts from Cosmic Cats, they truly become part of our extended cosmic family too.I will always look forward to updates—not because I'm checking in, but because I genuinely love knowing how they’re doing, how they’re growing, and getting to watch the bond between them and their people unfold over time.

Seeing them thrive in the homes they were meant for is one of the most beautiful parts of this journey for me… even if I don't love the goodbye part.

✨ Cosmic Care Bear Litter 12-Week Update ✨

This week was a big one for our little stars.

The kittens had their second round of vaccinations and did amazing at their vet visit. Tomorrow is another important milestone as they head in for their spay/neuter procedures and microchips before their big adventures begin with their forever families.

They’re growing so beautifully and are officially thriving—every kitten is now well over 3 lbs, and two of them are already over 4 pounds…one tipping the scale at 4.5 lbs! 😄

At this rate I may need to invest in a larger scale for these Cosmic Cats.

Watching them grow from tiny newborns into confident, playful, affectionate little companions has been such a beautiful journey. Every week they become a little more curious, a little more brave, and somehow even more lovable.

So proud of these sweet babies and all the joy they bring to our home. Their families are going to be so lucky. 💖

✨🌿 Introducing Cosmic Cats’ Morning Sunlit Forest Litter 🌿✨

One week ago this morning, our beautiful girl Pixie Dust welcomed her very first litter into the world.

We were right by her side through every moment—comforting her, supporting her, and cheering her on as she became a mama. Watching her instinctively care for her babies has been beautiful in a way that’s hard to put into words. Pixie gave birth to four precious babies.

Our hearts also experienced heartbreak this week as we had to say goodbye to one of her sweet baby girls.💔🥺 We named her Willow—for her quiet strength and gentle spirit. She was born with a severe cleft pallet that made breathing and nursing incredibly difficult. We sought guidance from our veterinarian and received a second opinion, holding onto hope that there might be something we could do to help her. But on her third day, we made the heartbreaking decision to help her transition peacefully.

We’re grateful to share that Pixie’s three remaining babies are doing well and growing stronger every day. 💖

At one week old, they are nestled close to mama, nursing, sleeping, and soaking up every ounce of love and comfort around them.

"You don’t have to be perfect… just consistent"

That applies to kittens, too. 💕

Yesterday the babies went in for their second round of vaccines — another small but important step in helping them grow into healthy, confident companions. It’s not about doing everything perfectly every single day. It’s about showing up consistently with love, care, patience, socialization, vet visits, good nutrition, new experiences, and all the little moments that shape who they become.

Healthy, well-adjusted kittens aren’t created by one big moment. They’re built little by little… day by day. 🌙

And these babies are growing into something really special. 💫

They were just tiny little stars in my hands… and somehow, in the blink of an eye, they grew into the beautiful souls they are today. ✨

When someone tells you time goes by fast, believe them.
Because one day you’re watching tiny paws wobble across the room… and the next, you’re staring at how unbelievably beautiful they’ve become. 🥹

Love-a-Lot Bear grew into a breathtaking mink mackerel tabby with the dreamiest markings… while Funshine Bear blossomed into an absolutely stunning blue mink ticked tabby — a color so rare and special. 🌙✨

Watching every single part of them develop has felt like watching God's tiny masterpieces come to life. Every stage passes too quickly, which is why I soak in every cuddle, every purr, and every moment. 💕

From tiny babies to extraordinary young Highlander kittens… they’ll always be my little stars. 💖

Eleven weeks old this week and it has been full of even more adventures for our Cosmic Care Bear babies. 💫

The kittens continued working on their harness training, enjoyed a few more car rides, explored new outings to restaurants and a store, and handled every experience with so much curiosity and confidence. Watching their little personalities continue to blossom has been such a joy. 💕

In preparation for Pixie’s delivery, the babies also graduated to a brand new room in the house to explore — and they are absolutely loving the space to climb, zoom, wrestle, and snuggle.

And of course… my daughter now has FIVE babies piled into bed with her every night, and she is loving every single second of it. 🥹💖 There is truly nothing sweeter than watching these kittens grow up surrounded by so much love, socialization, and everyday family life.

Every week with this litter feels more bittersweet as they get closer to their go-home days. These babies have definitely imprinted themselves on our hearts forever.

The older I get, the more I realize the real luxuries in life aren’t things.
They’re time.
Peace of mind.
Freedom.
And getting to spend ordinary moments with the people — and tiny souls — you love most.

So yes… a Walmart run including kittens in a stroller, strangers stopping to smile, kids asking questions, and little Highlanders soaking up new experiences one purr at a time is as special for me as it is also helping to shape these sweet babies. 🥹

These simple moments are the ones that end up meaning the most.
