This brave boy has been through more than most dogs should ever have to endure. From landing on the euthanasia list, to getting his Freedom Ride, to battling tick-borne disease, undergoing surgery for his broken femur, and making the journey out of state to Pennsylvania—Castro never gave up. 🚐🐶✨

His strength, resilience, and fighting spirit carried him through every obstacle. Today, he is surrounded by love, safety, and the promise of a brighter future. 💙

Every rescue journey reminds us that hope can change everything. Castro’s story is a powerful reminder that second chances save lives and that every dog deserves someone willing to fight for them. 🐾❤️
