🐾 Today is Lost Dog Awareness Day, a reminder of how quickly our furry friends can go missing—and how important it is to be prepared. Microchipping your pet greatly increases the chances of being reunited if they ever get lost. 🐶💡

Foster Plea: Help our puppies!

We are overflowing with puppies—nearly 70 in our care right now—and we urgently need your help. Several of our litters are now 6–8 weeks old and ready to move into smaller foster groups of 2–3 pups. But we can’t do that without more foster homes.

Fostering is easy, and we provide everything you need: a puppy pen, potty pads, bowls, food, toys, and more. You provide the love and a safe space while they grow. Puppies need to stay in foster homes until they’re adopted or until they’ve received all three rounds of vaccines. If you can’t commit to longer than that, no worries—we’ll bring them to the rescue once they’re fully vaccinated if they’re not adopted before then.

This is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have—watching these babies grow, learn, and thrive because of you. Even if you can only take in two puppies, that’s two lives changed forever.

Please reach out for assistance if you need low cost options. There are many programs for free or low cost spay and neuter in cities all across the US. Something needs to be done NOW. The overpopulation is at crisis level. Please share 🙏 Please encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to spay and neuter.

3 DAYS UNTIL THE BIG FIX❗

The SNIPSA team will be busy with prep work for one of the year’s biggest days, where we will be spaying/neutering over 500 animals in a single day. 🐶✂️🐱

You can help the most by fostering one of our rescues, as there’s a lot to do before this weekend. 💙

We don’t want them spending their days in a kennel, especially when we have so much to do.
