We are actively seeking new employees. This is for a part time position, 3-4 days a week.

We have a set of skills we are looking for - you must have experience with aquariums and understand fish compatibility and the nitrogen cycle. It's very important to be able to engage in constructive and helpful conversation with customers, and keep busy with tasks during downtime. You must be comfortable with all of the animals and insects in the store, and be willing to learn and take instruction.

A lot of people have acquired new aquariums this Christmas. Thats great! We love helping new faces explore the hobby. It can be very fun and rewarding, and we want to help you and your family have the best experience.

While we always have and always will do our best to guide you along, it's not humanly possible for our staff to give every individual a 100% complete crash course on every detail surrounding their pet situation. As our posted signs reiterate, it is your responsibility to thoroughly research and understand the required preparation, ongoing care, and compatibility for every little life you decide to bring into your home. This means reading and comprehending, and continuing to do so. This also means looking for science based facts and not just opinions that back up what you want to hear. When we ask questions about your setup or advise against something, it's because we care about these animals and we want both them and you to have success.
