Rocking P Ranch—home of our resident stallion, Metallic Cat—has announced an exciting new opportunity for the cow horse industry.

Beginning in 2026, Rocking P Ranch will introduce the Metallic Cat NRCHA Incentive, paying out in the Open Division at the 2026 National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity.

As long-time supporters of the NRCHA, this incentive is designed to directly reward the breeders and owners who continue to invest in and believe in Metallic Cat.

If you breed to Metallic Cat in 2026 and own a Metallic Cat offspring that advances to the Open Finals, you are eligible to earn incentive money.

Incentive Payouts will pay $250,000 to the Open Champion and $25,000 to each Open Finalist!

To be eligible, the owner of the Metallic Cat competing in the Open Finals must have a paid breeding to Metallic Cat in 2026.

This program is about backing the future, rewarding commitment, and continuing to raise the standard within the cow horse industry—the Metallic Cat way.
