NADAC Spring trial results...
The NADAC Spring trial at beautiful Camp Bethel was a huge success. As trial chair I appreciate all the help from our club members and local NADAC friends. Everyone pitched in where needed to keep the trial moving forward. We had over 800 runs during the weekend with competitors coming from Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina to participate.
Three NATCH ribbons, a versatility NATCH ribbon along with special award ribbons were organized and distributed by Betty Wilson.
Participants enjoyed outstanding weather and tackled agility courses crafted by Emma Vlcek SP-2, which offered both challenge and enjoyment. Appreciation goes to Scott Casino for taking on the role of supervising judge during the trial.
Special recognition and appreciation goes to Diane Conant, trial secretary, Jan Keister, data input, Ken Conner, equipment manager and the ring-fencing crew of Cindy Carl, Erin Barnett, Gabrielle Hooten, Cindy Lubin.
Hospitality arrangements were coordinated by Cindy Lubin and Marie Conner as several club members shared yummy goodies, coffee, fruit, BBQ pork and wraps for all workers to enjoy. Larry Johnston was equipment transportation and course builder for this trial and kept the course changes efficient, timely and organized.
I need to thank our local NADAC friends that also stepped in to gate, leash run, move equipment and scribe during the entire weekend.
The next agility event will take place at Camp Bethel in September, made possible by your continued support and dedication.
Congratulations to all participants and may all your runs be filled with joy.
